Small taste of success...now how do I rinse and repeat this???

INTERNET MARKETING

I created my own product a while ago, an e-course on songwriting that above all of my other IM projects seems to be the one that sells consistently over time. Not huge numbers by any means but I've been selling around 10-15 copies a month. For example this month here are my sales ($37 full price $27 being my one time offer when they opt in)...

05th - $37
06th - $37
09th - $37
11th - $37
13th - $37
13th - $37
18th - $27
22nd - $27
24th - $27
25th - $27
28th - $37
------------
$367 TOTAL

I have a series of videos with my url on Youtube that I also have embeded in some private pages on my site. I have them queued up in an autoresponder for my signups.

Now I also rank well for certain related keywords but on checking Analytics this morning ALL my sales have come from (direct) / (none). So they haven't come from people on my list, they haven't come from articles and they haven't come from my organic Google listings. So I'm guessing, people have seen the videos on Youtube and are typing in the address manually.

So my question is...how can I replicate this? How do I scale this up from 10-12 sales a month and start getting 1-2 every day? Any ideas?

Try sending some links to your articles...

Do you have a clickable URL in your Youtube descriptions?

If you know the conversion rate you can try testing some PPC...

If you know what kind of traffic converts, and how to buy it at and do better than break even on it, you can scale it up pretty easily.

There's also setting up an affiliate program and recruiting JV's.

No, don't send PPC to Youtube...

I'm saying PPC on targeted keywords to your sales letter, squeeze page, pre-sell, whatever.

If you try ppc I would recommend sending it to your main sales page..

If you want to learn more about ppc check out the thirty day challenge!

Thirty Day Challenge look at the videos on day 19 and day 22.

You can also try to write articles and submit to ezine and others.

Do you think there could be a way I could just scale up the traffic I'm getting from youtube? Since I know it converts well, I just need more of it from that source...I have more videos in the works...any ideas how I can drive more people to view my existing videos?

  If I were you, I'd definitely go Traffic Guyser over Tube Mogel.. It's much more powerful and you can get a $1 trial or free trial or something for a month, then it's $97/month... From the profits you're making right now though, you'd clear that no problem, so it's a win-win.

For a start it's obvious that video pre-sell works for you.

SO - go create a free account at tube mogul and blast your videos everywhere, then make more videos.

Don't mess with something that works. Just make it bigger

  Has Traffic Geyser improved then? I was a member a while back but although I followed the uploading instructions to the letter only about 30% were actually getting posted.. There were lots of failures and after going back and forth with support I gave up on the trial..
  
  I use Tube Mogul and I also have Video Post Robot which is in the process of being re-written. (Forget any idea of trying to go premium with Tube Mogul guys - I just asked and they want $500 a month!!!!!)

Do other video sites get much traffic? I was under the impression that youtube was the big boy that can drive loads of traffic and the other sites weren't really worth the trouble.

I used tube mogul (FREE) to blast out to a load and I had way more hits from veoh and metacafe than I did from youtube. On some of the sites the videos go to you can't put clickable URL links so you need to include your url in the video.

I hadn't seen your sig earlier but I actually bought those blues backing tracks from you before on youtube. Still play with them sometimes. Small world.
