where do you live? because in the US paypal has a plugin that allows you to use it as a virtual credit card. I use this all the time. You can set it as a one time card or for multiple uses and close and open as many cards as you want in seconds.

for self publishing books:

LULU print on demand This site is great for just getting your book out there. easy to set up and doesnt cost anything to setup. Only pay for what you print and they have an option to get it on amazon too. They have their own marketplace and checkout system too, in case you just want to sell it on their site for free.

Lightening Source Best option if you plan to sell alot of books and dont mind taking a few weeks to set up. Make sure you outsource the set up process because it is a pain in the butt. they will put the book on amazon, barnes and noble, and many others. it is also print on demand and the cost per a book is less. Plus a little better quality printing. I use them for my Attract the person of your dreams book, but used lulu for my RockStar book since LS doesnt offer square sized books in black and white.

PitchRate Free PR, you can get on radio, TV, and press for free from this cool site. Connect with journalists and more. Also I have used this to book guests on my own web radio show with great success.

WP Hive - Multiple WordPress Blogs with a Single Installation is awesome for this. It is now up to version 0.51 which pretty much automates the whole process. Still it is a bit of a pain to import existing blogs but it does do the job fantastically well.

Only concern is whether you want to have all your sites on the same hosting, so you may want to have 10 blogs per hive on different hosting providers.
