Can you do affiliate marketing with SALES FUNNELS alone? Is it effective?

I'm new to affiliate marketing and I'm just wondering what seems to be the most effective strategies to do affiliate marketing online? Can you only use sales funnels to get sales or is it just a tool that you can use to help sell? I tried using click bank and amazon but I haven't gotten one sale yet. Any suggestions or advice will help. Thank you

I am not sure I understand your question.

    Clickbank and Amazon are marketplaces.

yes, if i get your point.
    you need these three things:
    1. sales funnel: clickfunnels or landpages (we call front end sale)
    2. email responder: aweber or getresponse (we call back end sale, usual known as email marketing)
    3. a high conversion product.

Is it effective and have you done it before? What are your results or results that you are aware of when people use only sales funnels to build a list and create sales? Is this what everybody is doing on click bank to get sales? Would you recommend starting on click bank or amazon to promote products with this strategy? A lot of questions but thank you i really appreciate the help

Direct affiliate link is not good idea, moreover if you do this your ads account will be suspended.

So always send traffic to squeeze page first...Sales funnel is good for not just affiliate marketing but for any business.

    A sales funnel is:

1- Traffic (that is targeted to your offer).

2- Lead Capture Page (sifts and sorts your traffic into more serious visitors and converts them into an Email Lead.

3- After a lead opt into your sales funnel, they are redirected through an email auto responder like Aweber to a 'sales page'.

4- X amount of your leads can buy 'immediately' depending on your product. But some can buy after receiving a follow up email series of value.

You don't have to use a sales funnel like I just shared.

Some marketers send targeted traffic directly to a sales page / product.

Well it depend how you use it .If you make a thank you page you can put an affiliate offer on it and you can make a sale .Or they are people who build theyr list and it takes some time to make sales until you develop a good relation with that list

So is it just a tool you use along side your brand or main traffic source to promote and sell a product or can it be used through fb ppc advertising alone? Im just wondering if its a tool or a well converting campaign and nothing else. If i have to use it on a following or if i can just do that and build a following. If i use it for my business or if it is a business. I see many people on youtube creating these sales funnels alone and apperantly they are really successful, but what they don't explain is if they are just creating sales funnels for different products all day or if they are implementing their sales funnels into their businesses. Thank you guys for all the support

One way (of many) to do Affiliate Marketing...

Run a facebook ad to an opt-in page:

    "FREE VIDEO REVEALS ________"

Collect their name and email in exchange for the link to the video.

It does not have to be your own video. It can be something you found on YouTube.

Send them a welcome email explaining why you thought that video would be important to them.

Send them related email content every day with occasional affiliate promotions with links to products you have thoroughly checked out and believe in.

Continue running the ad and building your list and make more and more money.

    The end.

Thank you that answered my question. So you don't need a website or huge following to get started right?

You'll need a website in the form of an opt-in page and some money to run traffic to it.

Also, an autoresponder service to collect email addresses and send emails.

I tried Facebook advertising directly to a affiliate link with click bank a while back. I quickly learned that its not the most effective strategy (i didn't know about email marketing or funnels then) and now I'm going to promote soccer products on a website that i plan on building for my 1,500 Instagram followers. All of the followers provide value because its a business account where i just share the latest news, games and soccer stuff going on. I have a Facebook page, Instagram and I'm going to livestream soccer games to my audience to build a bigger following and to just provide more value. My long term goal is to build it up so much that i can design and brand my own soccer cleats and soccer equipment.

Sales funnels are an old fashioned stategy which worked better back in the days when the IM niche was in its infancy. You will achieve much higher conversion rates if you send traffic direct to your money site or affiliate link.

    Best regards, Kathleen

I tried that and it wasn't very effective. I see a lot of people using sales funnels now. Ill give both a try with a split test. Thank you for the advice

Don't trust everything you read as "the truth" - sales funnels are used consistently by successful internet marketers. There is no big 'mystery' to a sales funnel - it is a method of 'funneling' your customer from one of YOUR sites or landing pages to another of YOUR sites or landing pages and to YOUR list and YOUR upsell or downsell.....just a way of holding on to a customer as long as you can.

During that 'funnelling' you are working on providing value to the customer - building a relationship of trust, etc. At the very least you have more than one chance to SELL that customer.

The thread below gives simple example of what a sales funnel is.

    http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...-best-you.html

Read it - then do a search for other threads about "sales funnel" on this forum until you understand it's a process to increase sales - it's not a hard and fast "thing" but a description of how the marketer manages his sales process.

Personally, except for my adsense and CPA Sites I use funnels to "get sales" and as a tool that "you can use to help sell."

Example of the latter would be sending out an email to your list and at the bottom direct them to a blog where they can read an article and potentially by product.
So in a sense the funnel would be helping you sell on your blog (which is not really part of your funnel, imo)

You could send your traffic directly to your money page, but I don't recommend that at all. When you send them to a capture page, you are getting their email address which allows you to continue to promote to them many more times.

If you send them straight to the sales page, you only get one shot. Use that capture page to build up your email list and properly nurture that list and you will have customers for life.

    Edi98,

    Here is the basic process;

    1. Build a blog and create insanely valuable content and use it to communicate with your list.

    2. Build a list by giving away something that solves one problem your niche has. Be sure to over deliver.

    3. Build a relationship with your list. Send them to the blog, give them insane advice for free.

    4. Find things to affiliate that solve problems fro them and let them know about them.

    5. Continue building the relationship and sending them only the best of the best offers that really solve a problem for them.

A sales funnel is the process you use to market a product or service.

If I post an affiliate link that leads to a vendor sales page, that is a sales funnel. There is no required or "typical" number of steps.

I tried using click bank and amazon but I haven't gotten one sale yet
So, your first sales funnels have so far been ineffective.

It isn't a question of "if", but of what type and how complex, which will depend on your market and goals.
