Why does pending clearance take 14 days in fiverr?

When I complete an order in fiverr the payment will be added in my withdrawal available account after 14 days? At this time this dollar is under pending clearance? But why? Have you any idea why fiverr do this?

I don't know but maybe they are avoiding any chargebacks or they simply want use the money during that period.
The other thing I noticed with Fiverr is that they will not send your money back to Paypal or Credit card once you cancel your order. Instead they will send it to your balance so you have no option but spend it on only Fiverr. Too bad.

Thank you so much for your valuable comment. 'So you have no option but spend it on only Fiverr' it's very true and really very bad.

sometime paypal user may apply for chargeback though their bank, which both paypal and fiverr can't say no to it.

as due to this reason both fiverr and ebay hold the payment for 1 or 2 weeks just for precaution

the same thing happened to me when i start doing ebay and fiverr,

Did you ask Fiverr why or look up the TOS first before posting?

Surely you jest? Very unrealistic expectations for youto expect that someone might employ common sense.

This is safety practice about these type of site, mostly applied in the beginning just to make sure, what you have sold or done is good or legit.

You can say, this period is waiting time in case buyer does not satisfied and ask for refund. Later, after few payment this is restriction is removed from most of site...

So this is all about safety practice nothing else...

Pretty clear you didn't follow advice to check with Fiverr - as you are 'understanding' info that is not quite correct.

The "hold" is 14 days. As for why and how it's applied - go to Fiverr and look it up. Important for you to learn to do that.
