Normally it drops off very rapidly after the first month unless you have used a good SEO strategy for the articles.

Article marketing is one of the best free methods to generate targeted traffic.I have also been using it since I started as an affiliate marketer.
Now your aim should be to create your own product.Why not create a step by step report on article marketing.You'll find many buyers for sure as you are now an expert in this field.
Having your own product and getting some affiliates to promote it,would provide you with a great amount of residual income without any further effort on your part.
You have already crossed the $100/day mark why not aim for $1000/day now.

When you are writing these articles, are you submitting the same article that you write to each site? Or is it one unique article per site? I am very confused. I have been writing articles but posting the same one to 5 or 6 article directories at the same time. I am headed down the wrong road?

i just realized how foolish I have been after reading your post, the first $ i made online came from one article that generated anything from 3 to 10 sales a month. If only i had done 100 times more I would have reached your success

big lesson in your testimonial:
First: Fix a clear target that can bring results, like you did Paul 5 Articles/day
Second: keep doing the commitement first before anything else
Third: find a way to expand and improve the process, best products to promote, best way to write the article, best articles directories to submit, etc...

I really had my head boiling after reading your posts, and just took action based on this information today

Yeah usually you have your article link to some type of landing page, which then has your hoplink in it.

Everyone says it's best to have your own domain, but if you want to start out for free you can set up a page with one of the various web 2.0 sites out there, like blogger, hubpages, or squidoo.

you can login in your cpanel and from the awstats have a rough idea of how much traffic come from google and articles directories,
it is priceless as you may be surprised that some will give you more traffic

like the 80/20 rules, you can leverage this information and submit more to the website that deliver results in the first place, you can increase your visitors by articles just by doing that

if you want an advanced easy to use tracking, just pm me and i will provide you with a free exclusive access to my own tracking, or recommend you a tool that do a great job. This will tell you exactly where your visitors came from and what they typed to reach your website.

don't underestimate the power of this little task, I was able to increase by 150% the traffic of some of my websites just by doing that

Paul, just replace your landing page by an optin page, create an autoresponder and find
tons of products to promote by email

build around a niche and create a short report that people get from the optin,
the report is nothing else than 10 quality articles or the 10FAQs in your niches

This will increase the value per visitors instantly, you still can promote the offers that converted in the first place, but now you collect the emails and can upsell your customers list

He would be a fool to share his written articles since they are targeted to the product that is earning him money. All he needs are a bunch of jerks to move in on his targeted keywords and niche. Yes, there are plenty of sharks in the IM world that will do just that.

Iam into the third proper week of im,ive been trying various money making ideas for around 9 years.
It is only in the past week and a half i have seen any interest,although i have not had any sales yet,my list is starting to build gradually.
The only thing i have not done yet is article writing,which is something iam not very good at.
