Side Wiki - What really bums me out - Petition

Ok, I am going to work on installing the side wiki blocker today, and I am grateful on what that can do for my sites as well as grateful I have mostly installed wordpress sites or this would take way too much time to deal with.

But here is what bums me out. I've been involved in some activism for 2 years now against a scammer and we already had attacks on our blogs, etc - so I know it is not beyond this person or her supporters to go make a mess of things.

I just noticed on ezine that side wiki is active, but if you try to comment directly on ezine they do moderate the comments. So now any bozo can comment on any sites that you submit your stuff to like youtube and the rest.

My first intuition is to not use my name ever again with anything. The scammer I'm up against is unaware of side wiki (as I just went there and there are not comments yet) and while I would like to warn the public there it will only call me out to her and give me more grief down the road when she wises up.

Anyway, I started this mess over here, and I can edit the text in the petition if someone would like to add a little something of importance.

      They can't - that is the point. They need to add the blocker to their site.

      Right now if I go and comment on your article, I can do it directly on ezine and it needs to be approved. If someone decided to comment using sidewiki, Ezine has no control over it and has just been bypassed.

    Okay I understand what you mean now.

    I thought you meant that ezinearticles was moderating their sidewiki comments, you just meant they moderate the on-site comments. Yeah, the sidewiki is a bunch of B.S.

    Anyone feel like calling google corporate? I don't know if it would do any good and I'm not sure which corporate number would get to the sidewiki dept, that link has all of the google phone numbers.

        You are very welcome Jill...I think that this sidewiki thing is terrible and I really don't understand why "G" would want to have this going on when they are supposedly "anti spam" themselves. In fact, this all goes completely against the grain of their supposed standards across the board.
