My simple and brief advice is to keep your money in your pocket, and spend as much of your spare time here in WF, read as much as possible, then take an informed direction when you have found an area of IM that interests you

Exactly - I am also new & even I don't have 2000$ but I am learning here & trying to build my own website. I possess all developing skills but lacks in marketing , hope to get this done in future. Its hard when freelancer enters in marketing

Yes, I would definitely agree with Azzurro.

There may be many people that want to sell you things online, but you're greatest technique is to chase after the TECHNIQUES to make the money.

Look through all of the free information you can and learn alot before you start spending too much. The truth is, you could spend a lot, or even nothing on a business, but if you don't take action, you won't make any money.

So I wish you the best of luck, and if you are interested in some free information, just hit me up with a pm.

    Hey Daniel
Don't make the mistake of buying internet businesses in the beginning of your IM career. This may prove fatal.

Instead think of creating high value businesses. It's not difficult at all.Once you start doing ,you'll be amazed at the ease.

I call this method "Emergency Cash Method" and it has always worked for me.You need to follow these steps to generate at least $1000 within the next 24 hours.Once you generate enough cash with this method, you can sell that site at 5-10 times the monthly revenue at Website flipping sites.

    Here are the steps:

1)Spot a need : Don't use any keyword research software here.Instead visit some forums in the niche you want to create your product.Go through the discussions.See what are problems these people facing. If you provide a solution to these problems, people will eagerly buy your product.

2)Create your product:Create a short 10-15 page report providing the solution. You can find the content at the article directories or through the Google search.
Alternatively you can buy a PLR product ,re-work and re-brand it and you have your own product within hours.Price it at $5-$10.

3)Create your salespage:This is not difficult.Use "$7secrets" script to handle the payments etc.It only costs $7.They also provide you a salesletter template(Though most of it is written in Latin. So you might want to modify some portion of it).To find more templates type "Free salesletter templates" in Google search and download the templates.

4)Drive Traffic:This is the part which is going to make or break your product launch. To cross the $1000 mark within 24 hours you need to drive large amount of targeted traffic to your salespage.I have discussed 15 FREE methods to generate huge amount of traffic in the "Emergency Cash Method" report but it's not possible to discuss all the methods here.Nevertheless I'll discuss some of them:

i)JV and affiliate traffic:This is the people leverage part and going to play huge role in the success of your product.Make some friends at the forums and get some of them to promote your product to their list.Offer 100% commission on the front end product and make money on the One Time Offers and Back-end.

ii)Forum marketing:This can also provide you with targeted traffic.Contact the members you have seen discussing their problems via PM and explain that your product is the perfect solution to their problems. You'll get many buyers this way.

iii)Article marketing:Evergreen method.Write 10-20 targeted articles around the subject of your product and submit them to as many directories as you can.Include a link to your product in the resource.

iv)Video Marketing:Hot trend of the way.You have already written some articles(If not get some PLR articles). Now convert them into live talking videos using :
Turn any article to video with animation, music, graphics, and a full voice-over for just $1!
They also submit your videos to 10+ top video sites. You can use their service Totally FREE for 14 days.
You can also submit your videos using "TubeMogul".Here is a cool trick:
search for the popular videos in your niche.Paste their URLs in the Youtube FREE keyword search tool:
    https://ads.youtube.com/keyword_tool
it'll present you with a long list of related keyword suggestions.Save them in a notepad.Use them in the Description and tagging of the video.
By using video marketing you can expect to get large amount of traffic to your site in no time. Now it's time to start calculating the cash.

I have applied the above mentioned strategies in many niches and have always been able to generate more than $1000 in a very short time.

Once you squeeze the maximum possible profits from your site,Sell it at flippa.com for 5-10 times your monthly revenue.

You don't need more than $20 to apply this method.
    Best of luck.

      Hi Daniel
You can promote Clickbank products for sure and earn nice income out of it if you put the required efforts but having your own products give you much more freedom and the opportunity to benefit from the efforts of others.

I have been promoting affiliate products for over one year now.The income was enough to support me and my family but I never made anything great.
About 4 months ago I decided to create my own products. It was difficult in the beginning but things only gotten easier as I gained experience. After a while everything became just a routine work. Now I can create a new product within 4 hours.
Today I have several products in different niches and generate 10 times more than I used to make as an affiliate.

    Daniel, welcome to the WF.

You mentioned, "that will take me awhile to do" Uh, yes. This is the challenge.

Once or twice a week a new person will join the WF and post a question similar to yours. There are hundreds of threads about that topic. Did you use the search function to find them... and read them?

You can spend days reading all those posts and get some good answers.

Also there is the "War Room" which only costs a few dollars for a 20 year (yes, that's right) a 20 year membership. There are hundreds of post in the War Room where warriors are giving their "how to" ebooks and info to other warriors for FREE! Wow!

If you really want to learn IM, sign up for the War Room and read, read, read, and read some more.

indeed I made this mistake too (I'm sure most people on this forum have). Spending money on new products and getting nowhere fast.

Although investing in your knowledge is great, information overload can be lethal to your progress!

    Hi simon,

I personally believe the Forex market could be as hard to break into as Internet Marketing can be without an existing list of subscribers.

Once you have built a list of subscribers though (at least 500) you then have an asset to trade with others to build your list further. I've built my list mainly via JV's and ad swaps!

If your just starting out though... I would suggesting getting into a smaller/less competitive niche, use articles as a free source of traffic. (I personally prefer writing quality articles and backlinking them until they reach the first page of Google for a keywords, rather than writing shed loads of articles and blasting them out).

    Hopes this helps buddy

yes thank you for your time and patience.. i am new to this.. but this will be my second site. I understand where your coming from tho... As for promotion im gonna go with Article saturation...and a backpage.com monthly campaign of 50 ads daily to kick start the site. i would be happy with 5+ sales per month

    You basically have two options.

    1. You can stumble about wasting time money and most probably becoming frustrated along the way.

    OR

    2. You can get a mentor.

Over the years Ive wasted more money than I care to think about, and god knows how many hours trying to "figure it out".

If only I could go back in time and get a mentor. I was stubborn, and this mindset hurt me badly.

      Daniel,
Forex market can be a great earner. However it's fiercely competitive so to depend on article marketing is gonna take long grunt hours daily for what could be a while to get to the upper reaches of google. Of course there's other ways to market and I'd suggest looking at list building and twitter. Obviously there's skills to learn to be effective at these methods.
      Good luck.

I don't think buying a website is necessarily a bad decision as sometimes you have people with good sites that don't understand about marketing and you can get it for a good price and pay a coywriter to write new copy and improve the affiliate side of things and start driving traffic. For a new person that adds an extra layer. I remember when I started about 5 years ago I aranged a deal to take over somebodies site where he had created various software and would pay him in installments. The site was making about $100 a month and I agreed to pay him something like $500 for the site as he was going to Uni. I paid him in installments of $150 a month or something - then added copy and drove traffic through PPC.. and was making about $300 a month - in the end I sold the site for a multiple of monthly. Kirt Christensen used to have a site with a monthly fee all about buying and selling websites - may still be going I'm not sure. Ed Dale did a site called Domniniche but was pretty expensive to gain entry. Good luck. Paul

superaffiliate09's post is fantastic advice and is a great blueprint, even for a new internet marketer (welcome to our world by the way!)

clickbank and other affiliate portals are a great way of finding your feet in IM and playing around with the various internet marketing tools that are available on the web. I certainly started out using clickbank and just having a go at things. then, as your confidence grows and you build your experience you will be in a much better position to start thinking about creating your own products.

the universal advice about keeping the money in your pocket is not a joke. i'm sure my fellow warriors will agree with me when i say that you will have plenty of opportunities to spend that cash quickly because someone will try to sell you something but don't be tempted to just buy a website or a product for the sake of it.

IM is also a lot about you mindset. The mindset that works for me (and has been mentioned here already) is treat your products as problem solvers rather than money makers. The money will come if you start solving real problems in the niches you go into...cannot stress that enough my friend!

I agree with all the warriors who posted not to spend the money.

      Learn first.

Not only here but anywhere you can.

You need to learn the basics like ftp, html, graphics, linking, seo, etc.

You don't have to master them but you need a strong foundation.

Once you get that you need to research a business and business model and then learn marketing in general, writing, copywriting, etc.

Then you should create a product of your own, monetize it with affiliate products that compliment it.

      build a product funnel

      - low ticket item
      - medium cost item
      - high ticket item
      - optional continuity

You need the above in place eventually to make backend sales from those who buy your loss leader.

After you get the essentials in order, you need to build a site that can pull good free traffic based on keyword research.

You need an autoresponder to follow up with prospects and clients with your sales funnel items and to build a relationship.

Lot's of stuff, I'm sure you see..

Not trying to confuse you but want to hammer home how important knowledge is versus ideas not fully researched.

You can loose your saved money quick even with taking the proper steps and quicker if you don't.

      Hope this helps

Ok..after reading all the posts on here and all of your replies...

I can tell that you aren't really taking the advice to heart. I'm not trying to be negative, just factual. The internet is a crazy place to do business, and I can tell by the "tone" of your replies that you think it's going to be an easy ride from here on out.

I just want you to know what you're getting into and you need to be aware that this is NO EASY money. It can be easy after you've worked your ass off...but nothing happens overnight (again unless you've already worked your ass off haha).

Anyways, I just want to confirm that you need to take more time planning and learning...That should be your first action step. No doubt about it.

I can tell by your replies that you're jumping into something and I just don't want to see you get crushed when the results aren't there. (i.e. the forex market is absolutely saturated...if you don't know anything about forex OR internet marketing you're in for a rude awakening).

Anyways, I think you get my point, and I'm trying to be honest with you and save you from something unpleasant down the road...

    Best of luck

Keep you money...sign up to clickbank. Find some products to promote. Buy a domain domain name to redirect your affiliate link to. Find some free methods to advertise and see if you can make some money. I think that will cost you about 10 bucks.

    Daniel,

You are going to read the two most powerful and important words in Internet Marketing in just a moment, but first a million dollar piece of advice.

Advice: Put your money in your sock drawer or other safe secret place. Keep it there.

Now the two most powerful and important words in Internet Marketing:

    Learn.

    Apply.

LEARN all you can here. Take a week and just read. Don't commit to ANY one direction, just explore and get to know the methods, the madness, and the mentors here. Choose what direction want to go it, choose who you want to learn from.

APPLY. What ever you decide to do, go full tilt boogie.

Invest your money in your mind and in your biz, as you see fit, and not all at once. You don't wear all your socks in one day.

And if you want, friend me here, and keep me in the loop. I'd love to see what you do and follow your journey.

    Twenty Twenty

PS: One more thought. Actually two. Don't share your dreams with too many people. "Real world" folks will tend to not understand and may attempt to bring you down. And also, put a good balance of inspiration and instruction inside your head. We live in historic times, where we can make millions and make a huge difference.

I think that there are no super-competitive niches. Every niche, every website, every product has its own audience, and customer.

If you want the auto pilot campaign. I suggest you do this: (I assume you do have a niche already)

    1) Get the domain name and hosting.

    2) Get a list of problems that people in your niche have.

    3) Make 3-4 ebooks. 10-15 pages of pure, valuable content will do great. Each ebook should solve one or a couple of peoblems. Don`t forget the value. It`s what sells your ebooks. One ebook of these will be given away for free.

    4) Get the sales pages for the ebooks ready. Get one squeeze page for your ebook. Nothing fancy needed - just list why people need what you have, and do not be too salesy. Your value will sell it all.

    5) Set up the payment management system - either Ejunkie, or 7 Dollar Script will be fine.

    6) Get 10-15 email follow up messages ready on AWeber. Every 4th message or so cam promote your own ebook. Which you can sell at $9 first one, $14 - second one, and so on.

    7) Drive traffic to your squeeze page.

That seems like a lot of work, but it really isn`t. You can set this the campaign up in less than one week if you know what their problems are, and what solutions you can offer to them.

And it does not cost a lot - you pay for the domain name, hosting, and the payment processing script or service.

    I truly hope this helps

    Alex
