URGENT article marketing question-Pre sell Page Or Redirect?

Which do you prefer? Presell page or Redirect?

This is in regard to some article marketing I wanted to do, I've been article marketing for some time using my own domain for my blog and products.

If I use a redirect, google and other search engine won't count that backlink and the redirect url won't rank for anything especially for article sites.

Do you always use a presell page when doing article marketing in order to lead them to the affiliate sales page?

This is something that's been churning in my mind for some time, I really need your help on this.

Thanks in advance

I always use a landing page with an email opt in. Most of the money is in the right use of the backend.

I agree. I have had the best results from article marketing by linking to my page with "more information". And on that page I have links to my main sale page.

I have gotten a lot of opt-ins this way, and my sales have had good results too.

If you use a different list for each article theme, then you can segment the people that opt-in and send them more appropriate content and offers that they'll be more responsive to.

Thanks Guys, that's food for thought, I'm leaning torward using pre-sell landing pages or even optin pages instead of direct linking when using article directories.

a redirect is only if your new or your just testing the waters on a new product.

but definitely have your own page going with an *opt in box* (why its better than redirect)

capturing emails should be a priority
