Hi guys, I launch my product soon. I have a pretty good contact with my list and open rates are great (around 45%). I know they are interested in my product... some of them has followed the product's creation since the first week or two. They all have a pretty good idea of what the product will be because I send them update emails with info about the product. I also add social proof element by sending them email with link of popular blogs who talked about my future product. Long story short. I'll do a 50% sale for the first week of my product on the market. I've always kept secret the price and info about the launch promotion. I announced the launch date to my list 3-4 days ago and I received a lot of question about price. I decided to be upfront and tell the price to those who asked me. I think I've not build enough value yet to sell my product at a price of 137$ (This will be the job of my salesletter and not my email...). So I decided to tell them about the big promo and the 50% off discount for people who takes action quickly. Responses are great so far. They are thrilled about the discount. The question. Do I talk about prices in my launch sequence? I know the goal of the email if to click the d*mn link to hit the salesletter. But I have great responses so far... 3 out of 10 asked me If I accept pre-order and one of them was pissed off because he thought it was free (wow I can't believe... I always talk about "product", "get your copy", "product launch" his english was very basic, I suppose he doesn't know english too much ![]() Any insights would be appreciated. In my opinion, during the launch sequence it's best to focus on your product characteristics, benefits and proof, and how it can help your prospects. I believe it's best to leave price to the very end of the sequence.
