Naturally, I don't want to slap any old thing on my website and expect it to have results. Also, I'm not impressed by a lot of hype. I want facts. Basically, I have two questions: 1) What affiliate programs do you use? 2) What kind of results have you had with them? Good, bad, ugly? |

If you are asking about affiliate products to promote, all you have to do is go to the different affiliate vendors, PDC, CB, CJ, and find products that would appeal to the people who visit your website. As long as the product has good sales copy and relates to the same niche as your website, you will probably get sales if you have traffic to your site. If you are talking about an affiliate program management software, I use CB and easyclickmate and they both work well. If you are not talking about either of the above two things, I suggest you edit your post and make it clearer what you are asking for. |

2. All of the above. I have found good product that was lazy on payout. I have had what I thought was good product (turned bad but too much to go into here) that paid on time. I know this sounds vague, but honestly if someone is selling a winner you are going to have a tough time getting it out of them. Solution? Buy stuff, look at it, and keep if you want to use it and sell it or return if you think it is crap. No money to buy? Email new product creators and see if you can get a review copy. You can affiliate for sites like amazon and ebay as well. Have a hamilton blender in your house? Flat screen TV? Do a review and get signed up to promote the products you own and like using. Even the "as seen on TV " sites have a way to promote online. | |

First let me say I'm not trying to drum up sales. I'm in the process of shutting down my current website biz and not promoting my affiliates... I'm just giving a good tip here. My biggest affiliate money maker was Site Build It. It was my first affiliate sale 3 yrs ago ($100/1 sale) and remained my best earner. Their payout is incredibly generous and the company is easy to promote because they offer a great product that their customers love. Check out my blog to learn more (Internet Biz page). |
