Do I send straight to the offer or send to landing page than offer?

Hey Warriors!

I hope success finds you all.

I am getting ready to sell my first affiliate ( Not CPA nor clickbank) product, I am going to use article marketing to start with.

My question is should I do a redirect to the offer from the artilce or should I place my landing page URL in the artilce and send the searcher to the pre-sell landing page than to the offer.

A. article>merchant site

or

B. article>pre-sell page>merchant site.

P.s-at this time I am not working on building a list. I am not looking for info about list building.

Thanks,
Ron

    Hi Ron,

B, for sure. Every now and then you'll luck out and hit a homerun with A, but B is much more likely to produce commissions for you. Just make sure your pre-sell page has solid info and an objective tone. And don't clutter it up with links to other sites. You want to give visitors just 2 options: back button or merchant's landing page.

As John said, you'll want to go with B. Having said that, there's not necessarily anything wrong with going option A first and switching it up to option B later. Just make sure that whatever link you're putting in can be redirected to a presell later on without having to go back to change your articles.

Send people from your article to your presell page with opt in so you can build your list. If they are not interested in that product you can sell them others basically for the rest of your life or until they unsubscribe. You want your optin form button to say something like "Give Me Instant Access Now" and then redirect them through your affiliate link(which would be hidden if say for example you were using awebers java opt in code) to the offer.

I can't offer anything which hasn't already been said...as "Z" said it better then I could have!

However, let's not assume that everyone has the 'spendable cash' to pluck down on an autoresponder, thus, it's not a bad thing to go w/option "A" first and then when money is not so tight, switch it up and go w/option "B" down the road.

Many WF members have mentioned in a post or two that they themselves started off by simply going w/a option "A" type of approach when they were first starting out. That being said, if you're in a position where you can easily invest in an autoresponder, then I would definitely go with the latter approach.

Just my $0.2 worth though....even though I've only been paid a 'penny' for my thoughts in the past! :-)

      Good points.
This whole thread is highlighting a question I have held for a long time.

Now, option A does have a problem according to EZA's TOS; according to EZA
if you are to send them to a merchants page, it must be through a domain redirect. In this case you would still need hosting and a domain!

So I'm wondering if you can just set up a blogger or hubpage or whatever
offering a video or more usable content that provides even more value,
Then just tossing the link to your affiliate page or whatever from there.

If you only have one link and the content is good.
      This should pass EZA's TOS.
In fact I'm going to test this one out!

Besides that, I like option B better, because then you
are building a list, and we all know what that could do for you!

      Cheers.
