Is this worth it anymore?

Is it worth it anymore to advertise your online business in offline print such as newspapers and magazines? Or would you consider these to be dead or dying mediums as most people get their information online now? I've really never known anyone to read classified ads in the newspaper, or look at the ads in magazines but I suppose some people still do.

Ya it is better to advertise your online business offline methods tooo. There are people who read the newspapers and get website and check it on their internet. Rather than the internet, newspapers and other offline methods reach lots of people. As a result you will get more traffic to your site...

It depends on what you want to accomplish but I won't consider offline stuff as dead. That's for sure.

In my opinion, I think advertise online business in offline print not really help. We can't really confirmed is there ppl read the advertisement. Adword could be better. At least we can confirm someone is reading your advert then u pay.

This is just my opinion, but I wouldn't advertise in offline print unless I was either promoting something locally or I set up some sort of portal site that only my offline ads were sent to, that way I could monitor how effective the advertising was. Although, I'm still not sure I would even bother. That's just me though, depending on your individual situation it could very well be worth it for you.

What I would be offering is a service where people can post items they wish to sell online in our store and our affiliate marketers will proceed to sell the items for the person who list them. It's like an online yard or garage sale, but with a professional affiliate marketer doing the selling for you. You get paid without being low balled, avoid the headache of hosting a physical yard or garage sale and the affiliate marketer gets a commission and therefore incentive to sell more of your stuff in the future.

Are you insane? If you know how to use these the right way you can build lists of thousands in no time. I'd rather spend money on some of these offline publications then ppc. I remember years ago when I was a teenager I made hundreds a week by giving away free coupons in the back of these types of magazines. But keep thinking this way, more money for me.

I used to run a print magazine for over 10 years. I am now making money online. Not like the real world print magazine, but doable.

Just like with any other advertising, the only way to know is to try and see. Every niche, every product, and even the various offers for the same product will do better in some media than in others.
