How many visitors?

Hi.

Sorry for this newbie question but...
I wonder how many dailiy visitors I expect to receive daily to an average minisite consisting of 20-30 pages? (while doing the proper marketing)

Of cource I understand that this can vary heavily depending on the niche and selested keywords, but give me a rough estimate please

Also how many months does it take to receive a relative good search engine position?
(after doing stuff like directory submissions, obtaining good links, social bookmarking, etc..)

Looking through Cpanel for my site have 111 total Referrers and about 10 visitors per day ( those visitors might be robots or other non-people )

    well i too wondering as i also have 11 visitors a day and i want to increase my traffic.

    What is proper marketing? It depends wha tyou do to drive traffic to it.

    You could get good position in google almost instantly (a week or two) but you could also disappear just as fast. To stay in google you might have to wait about a few months for steady traffic.

    And that's if you do all you mentioned (SEO, backlinks etc).

    One of my blogs get 50-100 a day from google and I haven't done any marketing to it except a couple of ezine articles from 3 months ago. Blogs should get traffic on its own. Another one I didn't do anything except update daily and it was getting traffic instantly from google.

    Hi Karl,
    You've asked questions like 'how long is a piece of string'? It would be hard to say how many visitors you should get and how high you rank in the search engines. People make money with very few visitors and no being ranked high/at all in the search engines by focusing on small niches and by using other online marketing other than seo.
    Are you capturing any of these 10 visitors via a opt-in box/page?
