EbayPHP/BANS and Amazon Listings on my site?

Ok so I have a site that gets a fair amount of traffic. I specifically bought this site to get targeted traffic. The site is http://www.certifiedtoyotahybrids.com and I get a few hundred visitors a month. Problem is I know that the people who come to my site are looking for Certified toyota cars. So I was wondering if using Ebayphp/BANS will make me some money?

If one person buys a car through my site....how much do I stand to make?

I have been in contact with a guy and hey has what I want on his site......
Used Toyota USA

I just have no clue how to make money with these programs.

Also does anyone use Amazonphp or a similar program to get amazon stuff on their site....and is that a viable way to make some money?

Ebay now went to qpc pricing (quality click pricing) - which means you get paid per click - sort of. Ebay does not disclose what their algorithm is for determining what the qpc pricing is.

It looks like if you send quality traffic to them you will get some sort of return. If no one ever buys a Toyota, it sounds like you could get your account terminated due to poor quality clicks.

Adsense might be a better revenue source for you.

Careful you have a trademark in that domain.
its a no no for EPN, if they catch on...

Adsense gives you $1-$2 clicks on car stuff, though I am not sure their current status on trademarks.

I do have adsense.....i make dollars per month. I know people want car listings I just can't figure out a way to get those on my site and make money....so if ebay pays per click I am in business.....but is that so when using BANS or EBAYphp?

Yes, BANS is just a way to display the listings so you will get paid the same whether you get the clicks from ebay's tools or BANS.

I do not use EBAYphp, but I am sure it is a similar thing.

It's not a PPC model, it's the quality of the clicks. If you deliver buyers to ebay then you will make some money.

Greg might be right about the trademark issue. I avoid them in my domains so I never fully looked into it.

    Hello

I use phpbay and phpzon. But ebay will give you the boot for the trademark. Trademarks can only be used after the third /

So looks like maybe adsense is the way to go or just move on to the next site. But try and leave trademarks out of domain names.

As far as getting paid I have a successful used car site and at the moment who knows how ebay is calculating but it seems to make money but I am in the dark at present although I have read rakes of info on it...lol Bloody complicated now

Ah man screw Ebay on that one! Although I have seen sites with names like Nintendo and Wii in their URL.

Well, they get away with it until they get caught. A human reviewer has to see them use it. They're probably either unaware of the policy, or they don't care and will just move on to the next affiliate program or open a new EPN account under a different corporation. Who knows?

Best thing is to avoid trademarks in your domain name with EPN.

    Hello,

I try and abide by their terms as I dont fancy getting the boot from them as the money is really easy to make.

    Good luck

  • As of today BANS is for sale. I think eBay's new model is really going to hammer away at people who make large commissions on big ticket items. I like to play eBay in low volume big ticket items. And for last month the "old" payout was much higher than the new model would be.

If I were in your shoes I'd be looking at a different monitization model.

OK I beg to differ, I target highticket items and on my previous months I have seen almost double income.

However I will see how it goes.
