I have come a long way!

Please take a look at my page and tell me what should be changed/removed/added from it. Search Craigslist - All Sites, Multiple cities, Classifieds with Craigs List Reader

I must admit though...4 months ago I said that I would never have a page like that! But now here I am after few months...doing exactly opposite of what I thought would work. I guess, I still have a lot to learn from you guys - or maybe you guys are brainwashing me or something :-)

I will appreciate if you could be specific.

Thanks

Is your target market are those that are freq buyer from Craigslist?

    A $97 price tag !

What must the buyer buy and how many times he buy to recover the cost ?

I haven't done any research on this type of product. I suppose you should have.
Try to target to those who really need them.

As a buyer, I don't think I will know should tool and exist will not search for it. And to spend $97 for such tool, well do I really need it for a purchase in Craigslist?

    * Note: I am not saying that the product is not good, I am trying to say that I do not need it.
Have you identify those that need such a tool? Where can you find them ? What type of products are they trying to buy when such a tool become beneficial.

      Hello

$97! That is far to steep and would put me off for something to search craig list!

Your testomonial boxes really put me off....Dont know why but as there where no capital letters it looked upside down until I realy focused!??!?!?

      The headline is very weak.....

Something like... Save Time Money etc etc

You also need a strong PS and I really strong final header to push them over the line...

Lastly why not have a pop up or an exit popup that redirects them to download the free trial? I think should should in fact use the free trial and simply promote that, so just offer the trial version nothing else then people are almost in your sales funnel then tell them the price.

    HI there,

The bar at the top of your page is confusing and will cause people to leak away to your other sites. It made me think your website was on a free webhost.

Your headline doesn't engage my interest and give me any reason to read on. You want something that will grab people's attention and make them realise the benefit of your product.

I don't know what the market is like and how well you are selling your product, but $97 to me is an awful lot of money and personally, I would be very put off. Are there any competing products and how are they priced? How do they compare to your product.

The testimonial boxes are really confusing. Having the testimonial in bold and the name in normal font is very confusing and you don't want your potential buyers being confused. I found myself looking at them wondering what was wrong with them and couldn't quite work it out initially.

There's a few too many order buttons at the bottom and that's confusing, as is the green / yellow box - you'll lose people who go off and look at it.

What's the purpose of your page?

    I'd focus in on that.

For example, focus on either selling them the $97 product or getting them to sign up for the free trial (and I assume you collect email addresses from this?). Remove all other links so there is one option and one option only for your potential buyers.

I'd personally focus on getting people to sign up for the free trial and then market the $97 product to them after they've used it and realised it is useful for them. I would also check the price and ensure that it does sell at that price point. Have you tested lower prices to see what it does to your conversion rate?

    All the best to you

    Jason

I agree with most of what is said above. The bar is NOT a good idea. I think Rule one is DO NOT give the reader a chance to leave the page before they read the whole letter.
You need a catchy header. Size and Font is good, but content needs work. Not sure how to change it since I am not familiar with the product, but I do think it needs work.
Yeah the testimonial boxes are not good at all you should look around at other people' sales pages and see what kind of stuff they use and see what things are common and try to find something close to that.
The price is too high. I mean maybe it is not in your mind but I think prospects will look at this and not want to spend that much on a product that might do what they want it to do. Also you do not mention the price early enough. I think you should have a price and buy button much closer to the top of the page. Maybe between the 2 big bullet point list. It would also help break up the text which would be easier on the eyes and encourage the reader to keep reading the letter.

    Hope this helps some,
    Kevin
