Recommended Script for Marketing Membership?

Hi Warriors,

I am about to re open my inner circle membership and was wondering what script do you recommend to do it with?

What I am looking for is a way for the members to interact with each other.

I'm not looking for anything like myspace, just a simple way for the members to interact.

This is a free membership so really not wanting to spend a fortune on something elaborate

I appreciate your time..

Interact with each other?

Any free chat script or free forum software. Have you thought of those? You don't need membership script for it.

James said it. There's a lot that goes into scripts these days. We need more information to send you on the right path.

Do you need simple commenting interaction...or more elaborate communication like a forum?

Sorry for not explaining better.

I basically want it to where they can sign up, have their profile and their own blog, any script can be intergrated into a php forum so that would not really need to be included.

I would like it so they could become friends with other members and so on. maybe even something I could add to and build upon..

I really like websitetoolbox.com they have a very robust forum hosted by them $5 a month or ad supported and the ads are not bad. I have 5 or six of them. Plus you can add a real time chat room to the forum. You can mass mail your members for 2 cents an email anytime you want to. Lots of features. It supports private password protected areas and free areas at the same time, has private messages, etc. Almost and I stress almost as good as the forum script here. I can't remember this one. LOL

PHPFox is a good call. This might be also be a nice "all-in-one" solution:

Dolphin :: Smart Community Builder :: Free Software

Also, Amember+Vbulletin will also offer what you want as well.

The tough part here is giving each member their own "blog". Not many scripts do this.

If you know Drupal...I just found this today as well:

Drupal Paypal Subscriptions Module | MoneyScripts.net - High Quality Drupal Modules

Drupal can run articles, forums, blogs...tons of stuff. Joomla can also handle this but they don't have a comprehensive solution for membership sites like the link above (unless something has recently surfaced).

No it's not hosted on my site. However that is what I like about it. It has no issues what so ever. I like easy. If I want it to look like they are on my site I just set up a mask redirect to it but I really don't care about that.
