optin box ideas

Hey all - is there an easy way to make optin boxes sexier w/out having to pay a designer? I'm using wordpress.

Does anyone know of free resources or someone that has ready to go optin boxes with sexy eye candy that are made for wordpress templates?

ideally something that's mostly even cut and paste like the aweber code

seems like something most people need, so hope some of the experienced folks can point us in the right direction...

Your backened opt-in script should provide this opt-in code. All you need to do is edit the html and look in a simple HTML editor.

ah i guess i wasn't clear.

I know how to make a standard aweber email sign up box.

i'm looking to make a cooler, more visually attractive optin box with better eye candy....

does anyone know an easy way to set that up in wordpress?

does someone have a free resource or know someone that sells predesigned optin boxes for wordpress?

The Maxblogpress Optin Form adder plugin does something like this:
MaxBlogPress MaxBlogPress Optin Form Adder
Or you can just pay a designer if you want something REALLY special.

Nice tip but it only works in posts and not pages. Meaning you can only use it on the blog posts and also sidebar. I was looking for something to use on pages.

I find it funny that you say that, because I installed this plugin yesterday and can't seem to figure out how to get the form OFF my pages, and have it ONLY on my posts.

In my case the form is showing up everywhere on my blog.

I presume you are using the old aweber style boxes? They are rolling out the new forms, I got them today.

At first I was annoyed because I prefer the no frills approach but you can still do no frills AND try the newer ones.

I'd suggest hiring a designer anyways - even though we're all usually ok with DIY, nothing beats a great design

AWeber gives you now designed optin forms as part of your account.
