Possibly a simple and often-asked question

I've been out of the marketing loop for a while and I want to get back in. I wanted to ask what type of marketing brings income to most people here. For example building a mailing list and shooting out your products, or affiliate marketing like selling others' products on clickbank.

I'm in the dark at the moment. Personally I've got a mailing list subscriber thing going on that caters to a specific niche but I want to expand and see what other opportunities are out there.

You can:

Create and sell downloadable information products (PDF reports, audios, videos).

Turn those downloadable products into physical products (printed reports, CD's, DVD's)

Sell those information products (digital or physical) through a membership site to earn monthly recurring income.

Cross-sell existing affiliate products that fit your niche.

Solicit user generated content from your audience and monetize it through selling ads or adsense on a blog or info site.

Create a paid mastermind group around your niche and lead it for a monthly fee from members.

Offer one-on-one coaching or support within your niche.

Become a "toll-collector" by being in between your market and those who can offer something useful and valuable through a joint venture that you devise and run.

This is even more interesting. Do you mean to add a 'special' paid group on top of an already-existing paid membership? You know, have like regular members and then have a 'mastermind' or 'platinum' group which costs more. Just want to be sure that I understand.

I'm guessing that this means in a nutshell to get someone else to create a product but YOU release it.

Good information by Bran.

Start one by one. Don't start all one time and get swamped by great information. Choose a simple one and as you move along, you try others.

Personally I'd like to go with this first - "Create and sell downloadable information products (PDF reports, audios, videos)."
