Protecting your S3 Files

S3Vault is a WordPress Plugin to protect your Amazon S3 files by generating expiring links. You can post your S3 files for download, or play videos inline or in a greybox without worrying about others sharing your S3 file links.

I just finished uploading it and waiting for Wordpress folks to include it in the plugins directory. But you can download it right now at http://S3Vault.com or (http://sitejerk.com/476/s3vault/)

It's a direct download - you don't even have to give your email id.

This is brilliant...now if only someone can create a similar plugin for other video hosts too.

How can I get this plugin? I'm not really sure how it works. I want to stream videos on my wp blog. But I don't want the links to expire after 15 minutes. Please help me understand.

The link is refreshed when you load the page. So, if someone (like me) loads up a ton of pages in tabs and finally reads your page an hour later, but the link has expired...all they have to do is reload the page to get a fresh link.
