    Hi there,

Are you sure Windows Movie Maker supports FLV files? It may not as Microsoft are notoriously about using their own formats.

Check which formats it supports and you may need to use something else to convert the FLV file into a movie maker friendly format.

    Cheers

You need to convert the FLV file to a AVI before you import to windows movie maker.

Yeah in Windows Movie Maker program FLV video format require conversion to AVI etc. to get imported in the program for further editing. I think Window guys should provide it's compatibility with even more video formats especially today when we have so many video files that we need to edit and work upon further.
