I recently purchased a product from a fellow Warrior and paid through PayPal. When the payment was made I was directed to a page that told me a download link was being sent to my email. Lo and behold, I checked my email and there was my download link! ![]() I've searched PayPal for how to set that up for my own product sales, but I can't seem to find the information. So -- how do you set up PayPal to send the download link to your customer's email when they buy your product? ![]() Thanks, Jaye |

I believe you need a service like ejunkie which would work in conjunction with Paypal. Teresa |

the IPN or instant payment notification that Paypal sends has to be integrated into your autoresponder. maybe another warrior can tell us how to do it. I am curious as well... Any help here? |

Just set this up when you make your PayPal button. I think you click on extra settings or something like that. You can setup the page you want the customer to go to. Not sure if you can also send an email with instructions from PayPal. You may need an autoresponder like stated above. Lambert |

PayPal notified me that I would receive an e-mail with the product download link. I got the e-mail, from the seller, which included the link. How did they do that? I'm very interested in doing the same. | |

I use DLGuard. Can't beat it. It creates expiring links so people can't share the link. You can hook up many products with one copy of DLGuard. One of the best investments I've made for business.

From the way you're describing it, it sounds like they used a service like e-junkie and had in integrated with their autoresponder so that when someone purchases, they get a notification and download link. I don't think you can do that with Paypal alone.

As described above it looks like they have intergrated paypal with their Autoresponder e.g aweber. This should be explained in detail on your Autoresponders website I know Aweber have a Video on how to set this up. It also allows the merchant to send you future emails for marketing puproses. This can be done without the need for ejunkie or DLguard however these 2 services give you extra protection with your download link. Giving each buyer their own unique Url, so this cannot be published elsewhere. The paypal intergration with your autoresponder is as easy as changing the notification email address from your own to the autoresponder email address given to you by your provider. As mentioned you can also setup the Paypal IPN to work with whatever software you choose so once your customer has paid paypal notifies your provider and a link is sent automatically. Instructions for this will slightly vary depending on your provider. If you search the forum for product delivery or ejunkie and DLguard there was a few post last week disgussing the issue of protecting your downloads. James |
