I am new to internet marketing. Umm really new actually ![]() Well I did do a lot of reading in last few months and I found bum marketing can be the most effective way for me to get money. I cant spend on anything so I guess its my only option for now. When I signed for travis course I also get articles for his make up system. Is it actually profitable to rewrite them and publish them at article directories. I get 1 article a day so I guess I could rewrite and have quite a lot of articles in my bag. But isn't that field of promoting travis's making up system a bit crowded. So can a newbie like me succeed there if I follow his tips and write a bloody lot of articles. And I was wondering when I create a new article should I post it at blogger squidoo (maybe different copies) and also at article directories. Is squidoo still effective Also some tips on bum marketing will also be good. ![]() btw I love these forums. packed with info Jimmy |

Rewriting those articles individually would probably not be practical based on the number of people who receive them. I would collect 10-20 articles, find the best paragraphs from those 10-20 articles, link them with some additional comments, and then rewrite. that way, you can turn that text into articles, blog posts, squidoo lenses, whatever. |

That bum marketing guide from Travis was one of the first things I read when I started learning this stuff back in July. It's kind of an old guide, there are definitely some other things you want to learn to add to that, just read around here on the forum to get a good comprehensive understanding of article marketing. As for your question "does it work?", there's lots of success stories here with article marketing. Personally, I've made about $150 so far by doing a tiny fraction of my overall plan, so when I kick it into gear I will no doubt be making a lot more. Good luck! -Jon |

I actually didn't understand ![]() Umm are you saying that I should find paragraphs from 20 articles and then create individual articles with my own comments. But if I do that I will only have less articles. So I should stick to quality rite. I actually didn't understand the last part Should I re-edit the articles which I just created for blog and squidoo. Sor ry I am a total noob

Bum marketing is a decent place to get an IM education, especially since you learn by doing. Don't be scared away from a niche because of competition fears, but do choose a couple of niches to start with rather than one. Squidoo won't work for Magic of Making Up or any health cures because those are banned topics. Stick with Blogger if you want a free landing page for your articles. Of course, the most important thing is action. Use bum marketing as a guide and learn as you go. |

Then I am thinking of using emailace's free version for getting some subscribers through article marketing. Should I focus on using resource box link to sent them to squeeze page or should I rather send them to landing page for the product

Hey I read that a while back . . . honestly it seemed kinda not too practical - you can achieve the same results using more up to date methods that require less work . . .

Yes, you will end up with fewer articles. But they will be unique and better than a simple rewrite. Yes, my method has more steps, but a much better chance of being accepted by ezinarticles. yes, after you submit them to ezinearticles, you should do a further rewrite to create content for your blog, website etc.

Bum marketing will get you some basic knowledge for article marketing . A lot has been learned since those days . Article marketing , as IM in general, is an ever evolving business. Those that sit still for any length of time will find themselves eating their competitors dust . If you are serious about making a living online I would suggest not copying anyone's material. If you think about it you are only building their business for them . Make sure everything you do sends back links to your own little corner of the internet . |

Yes, Bum marketing does work. I use it everyday and I get excellent results. But you have to use it properly. Find a niche-do keyword research on your chosen niche. When you write an article , the article have to be based on those keywords. For effective results you need to write at least 5-10 articles a day. Post them to relevant article directories. |
