I don't think business opportunity leads really have any measurable value without the phone number, Steve. Certainly none of my network marketing friends would be interested in buying any "email/postal only" leads. With the phone number, that's a different proposition altogether, and their value would then depend on:- (i) the type of wording they've responded to ("business opportunity leads" who have responded to "work-at-home" wording are not worth nearly as much) (ii) whether they were incentivized in any way (people entering a "free prize draw" are not really "leads" at all) (iii) how recently they were generated (iv) whether they're being offered exclusively or to other puchasers, and if so to how many and over what time-period |

Steve, it depends on how you captured them. if you got them from a signup for a freebie, then they might be worth a dime each or even up to 50 cents each. If you got them from selling something and then they opted in, then they could be worth as much as $10 each - depending on the price of the item they have previously purchased. I get about 15 leads a day in an IM niche and to me, they are worth about $4 each every month. But it all depends on method of capture and whether they have already purchased or not. |

I average about 200 total leads a day in a variety of different niches . Some of these are freebie seekers and never buy . Some are people who want the freebie but are not interested in the upsale or the back end . Some purchase the OTO and never buy anything else . Some buy everything I send out Each different class of leads are worth a different price . The great thing about online is that all you have to have in a lead is a portion of your autoresponder, hosting, and internet connection fees . |

I would personally keep them and market to them yourself. A few emails to them a week or even just a month and you could set yourself up for some good money making. After all if 10% buys from every email and the commission is say $100 or even just $50 then you have then got alot of money coming in each year from that alone, especially if your list size keeps growing! The leads are worth more to you than to someone else if they opted in at your site. Getting emails with content from you and then an occasional suggestion to buy something, (either your own product, one you affiliate for or a JV product) has a lot more credibility from the place they opted in at then an email out of the blue from some one who you sold them to! (when I get random emails from someone I don't know, I don't even open them.) |
