Your Google search results could be wrong .

I was searching google the other day trying to see if an article I had for a new niche was ranking yet .

I had researched my competition several times in the week before .

I couldn't find my article . I then noticed that all my old search results were marked with the date that I had searched them earlier .

I was logged into the same gmail account in a different tab that I had been during the first search .

I clicked on the sign out link and the fresh search that came up showed me number 3 on google for the keyword .

Just thought it was worth a mention

When logged in you have three additional buttons, up, down and "X" to remove the result. It's possible you had removed the result by clicking the "X" or down arrow?
