Hey guys,
I recently read somewhere on a post that was talking about posting on article directories vs. your website first. Well, somewhere in between reading posts I started to wonder if, although the backlinks are great, say you post the same exact article on 25 different article directories, will Google think that is positive in terms of content, or negative and being dupe content? I just watched a video the other day on duplicate content and google, stating there is no duplicate content penalty, unless it's used to manipulate search engines. Duplicate content simply ranks lower, 1 site will be ranked higher (likely whoever google seen with that content first), then the rest of the duplicate content will sink to the bottom of SE results.
I would recommend against posting the same content to your site and article directories, whether you submit the article to 25 directories or one. |
