Are you using You Tube?

Hi there -

I have begun to realise lately how easy it appears to break into organic keyword listings using You Tube videos (I know ... I'm about 2 years behind the crowd!!)

My plan is some simple photo/text informational shorts probably using Animoto (where they make it very easy to put such videos together).

I am looking for a product or someone to tell me here what I need to know in terms of going from A-Z with creating and then optimising it best for the particular kewyords, and getting best response.

Hey John,

Yes it is easy to rank on front pages of Google with Youtube videos.. Animoto is good but I have recently come across another site that lets you convert an article into a video ..The site is

This site lets you convert any article into video for $1 which is simply great.. Plus you can use Tubemogul to submit your videos to even more video sites...

for some reason google seems to take other video hosting sites before youtube (in my experience).

make sure you use tubemogul or trafficegeyser

you can upload your video by to multple video hosting sites all at once.

as for video tags. you can check other relative videos and copy their tags / category

i've been noticing this too ... in particular metacafe and veoh ... now whether this is just because other people don't submit here, or because it takes longer for videos to surface from youtube, i'm not sure ...

Me too - I can get a video all over the SERPS just using TG to distribute it.

Only using Youtube is really wasting an opportunity.

Thanks guys - Is Traffic Geyser pretty easy to use to make your own slideshow video from scatch then upload? If you are pretty non-techy like me.
