Default Using Twitter to drive traffic

Is Twitter really any good for driving traffic for op-tins to your list? I know people use it for biulding JV relationships, but to me Twitter just seems to be a big spam machine.

Michael Caporalini.

Anything can be a spam machine, if you treat it that way.

The successful marketers that I know would never do it like that. They don't even promote anything via twitter. They simply use it to build relationships, and yes, that leads to opt-ins.

In other words, on twitter they are just a likable person. Not a marketer.

Spam Machine? Alot of people do use Twitter to spam but there are also alot of people who use Twitter very effectively when it comes to driving traffic.

The secret is to have targeted followers and follow only people relavant to your niche, build relationships and provide them with quailty tweets. When I have followers unrelated to my niche or just blatant spammers then I don't follow back, following them back is just asking for spam.
