Hey, Well I am a sort of noob/newbie, so you don't really have to take me in notice, but I would like to know how to actually optimize the article using selective keywords. What is the actual process? |

GREAT. It will be good to hear MORE of what the expert article marketers out there have to say about certain aspects of the business. No matter how much one knows about the business, it's important to learn some more, ![]() My questions? I have the ability to churn out 100+ articles daily for my various niches/sites and I currently submit about 30 to 70+ of these to EzineArticles and the top 20 article directories daily. What's the best way to get the best from these 30 to 70+ daily submissions to EzineArticles and the other top 20 article directories? Also, what's the easiest or most affordable way to turn the best of the 100+ daily articles into spin ready (spinable) articles to submit to the HUNDREDS of other article directories? If this isn't necessary, why not?! Thanks, . |

Hi Jack - It's a bunch of questions but they revolve around the same issue: About the Author box: There are alot of conflicting opinions on what is best to include there. Should you include a link to a contact section of your website, like "for questions go to: www.blablablabla.com/contact" or should you have just one link your squeeze page/sales page? Is the author's name absolutely essential and do readers really care about this? What's an example of a perfect "about the author" box? |

Hey Jack here is my question. Is it more effective to write many short 300 word articles or more beneficial to write longer five hundred word articles? I have heard two schools of thoughts on this and would love to know the experts answers.

Hey Jack, Cool stuff. I've read through my own fair share of article marketing stuff and I've got one question that I think would be an interesting question to ask your experts. Just how many articles did they have to produce (either themselves or outsourced) before they see any significant results? Most people quit before they see their results but I think that's because they don't know where they should be aiming at before they stop and check their results. So, I would love to hear what the experts you are interviewing respond to that =) Asher |

I'd like to know anything and everything about keywords in relation to article marketing - but I will break it down to 5 questions: 1. What is the ideal keyword density? 2. What exactly does it mean for an article to be 'keyword optimized'? 3. How do you determine the best keyword(s) to use in an article? 4. If using a keyword phrase like "teach your parrot to curse" do you have to keep using the words in that order, or does it count if you say "your parrot will curse if you teach it"? 5. Do we approach the use of keywords differently according to what the article is used for, eg. to provide backlinks to a site, vs. to link to a squeeze page? cheers Ken |

Here's some of my questions; 1. How important is it to submit your articles to directories with a high pagerank? 2. If you SEO your articles just the right way, how long before it hits page 1 on google? 3. As far as clickbank goes, should you go for most popular, highest gravity, recurring commission, %age of sale? 4. The never ending debate, post article on your own domain first or do ezine first (I'm still confused, lol). 5. How much harder is it to promote high end products (physical or downloadable) in the $300 range commission versus a $30 commission? (See Jason Moffat's thread). 6. What is the best way to create a link from your article to a video of yours on youtube.com? And vice versa. 7. How can you get your article into an mp3 (or 4) and how do you promote it? 8. How can you promote your articles on twitter? 9. Would it be a good idea to put an ad on craigslist to promote your article? Do craigslist allow affiliate links? 10. If you are stone broke and need to make an income from article marketing FAST, what is the QUICKEST way to see a buck? Well, that should do it from me, lol ![]() ![]() !

How about the quality vs. quantity debate? That is, is it better to have fewer articles of high quality? Or a quantity of articles that probably aren't going to be as high quality? Or, is it a matter of when to release spun articles? By that, I mean that people are often advised to write an article and then spin it, which could give you let's say nine additional articles, for a total of ten articles. Now, these articles are all going to be very similar. If you submit them all at the same time, that wouldn't seem to be very useful. You'll have a number of articles hitting the directories all at the same time, and they will be all basically the same thing. I've seen examples of this when I've looked at article in directories, where someone has submitted a number of articles that are very similar and all appear right in a row. Instead of writing, spinning and submitting, should people be writing, spinning, waiting and then submitting? That is, you write your first article and spin it. Let's call the first article A1, and the spun articles A2, A3, ... A10. So, on day one, you submit A1. Day two, submit A2. Day three, submit A3. Etc. Maybe you could even space them a week apart, or perhaps 3 or 4 days apart, so that subsequent articles land on different days of the week. Of course, that might mean you need to write ten articles on day one, but then maybe you don't have to write any articles for another ten days (or however you space them apart) since you'll be using spun articles. In that way, you're getting a quantity of articles plus, if your initial article was quality and the spun versions retain that quality, you're getting the quality too. And, you're maximizing the effectiveness of that article by spreading it out instead of submitting everything at once. Would that be an effective strategy? I think this would be a good question, especially for newbies. I think people hear about spinning their articles to give them many variations and a high quantity, but what I don't think they hear often enough are strategies for maximizing the effectiveness of their spun articles. |

Here is a question that I think is very worth your while to include in your product, in at least some form. We all know that we need to have our articles ranked in the SERPs in order to really get traffic. So, what is the most cost effectie way of achieving this? Right now it is my belief that the most cost-effective way is to submit the same (unaltered) article to MANY other article directories, having the resource box point back to the article on EZA (or pick your favorite directory) ... and to make sure the anchor text is used to align with your chosen keyword. What's the MOST effective way to do this, if not as described? Or, if we have a budget, what is the best way to get articles ranked without regard for "most cost effective"? Having Steven included in the product peaks my interest, since I'm now spending good money doing article marketing. |

My question would be: When submitting articles to any of the big name article directories, how should we best use the 'bio box' to help presell the given product/service we're promoting? Should we use the bio box as a way to help identify us as an 'expert' in the given field, or simply use the bio box as yet another 'paragraph' to further pre-sell said product/service? Thanks, Ray |

![]() My question is very basic, here it goes.. 1. How many articles do you have online now? 2. How much are you making from all of them? (Even an estimate will do) 3. At what point in your article writing and marketing did it start bringing in the money? 4. What do you think is the "key" why your articles bring in sales? 5. If there's one single point/idea you want to share with all those who are writing articles for a living what would it be? 6. What is your success story? I would have wanted to ask about the most profitable niche that your experts are writing on but I think that would be out of the question. However if some of them are willing to share their most profitable niches that would be very much appreciated. I once visited a blog of an old writer, he said he wanted to mentor aspiring writers (of course for a fee) and he promised to share everything he knows about the trade, his motivation for it? well, he said at age 70 he's already too old and no longer afraid of competition. I thought that maybe he wants to leave something behind more than anything else All Success! Omar Diaz

If there's a PDF transcript, I'd read it. For me, it's a time issue. The transcript of a 30-minute audio or video might take 10 minutes or less to read. So, for me, I'd prefer to read rather than listen or watch.

PDF transcripts would be best since people can read them at their own pace and sort of highlight/take notes more effectively. I recommend getting the audio and pdf and providing the option to the consumer. Best of luck with your product!

A good question might be one that's come up recently in a couple different threads, and that is regarding backlinks. The question is on the quantity of articles that need to be submitted in order to build backlinks to a site. How many? I think some people are looking for excuses to write fewer articles, thinking if they submit x number of articles, then they can quit. I don't think some of them see that it's an ongoing process. At any rate, I think a question of "How many articles do I need to submit to build backlinks?" could generate some informative answers. I know my answer, but it would be interesting to read the opinions of your experts. |

Here is a good question for you: 1.Some Article Directories have switched over to NoFollow links. How does that effect Article Marketing. Advantages and dis-advantages of having a directory implement the nofollow attribute. 2. In most cases, there are two main reasons as to why authors submit articles. Generate a back link or drive in traffic. Now, we do know that the best method is to accomplish both, however the style is distinguished between the two reasons. If you were to tip the scale, which would be more important to concentrate on if you are a affiliate marketer? I may have more shortly |

I have heard various claims on how to do article keyword research, all of them contradicting each other. How do you do keyword research? |

| Here are some topics and questions which you may want to consider... 1. Marketing articles on a DIRECTORY versus marketing articles on your own website- AND linking articles from a directory to articles on your website. 2. Writing articles which will give you the highest conversion rate, from the title, to the content, to the author box. 3. Is less more? Why some new writers may not find success by writing less when they first start out? 4. Is more better when there is heavy competition or is there a way to drown out the competition with less articles? (I am talking insane competition)? 5. writing completely UNDERIVATIVE content in niches where most of the information is well known and released already? 6. This question is asked so often anyways: "Is it really possible to make 10,000$ with articles..." so given that question, I will re-ask my OWN question which was: How to make 10,000$+ per month with SEO'd articles alone. The same question would be applied and argued with both articles on a website vs articles submitted to directories... or a combination of things, but rather keep it more to article marketing alone. 7. The psychological aspect of article writing and marketing in comparison to customers/readers... Persuasion techniques and common (as well as not so commonly) used methods and styles of writing which captivate and entice buyers... Such as using ---fear ---guilt ---reverse psychology (such as with narcissists). ---incentives (money making niche) etc... Examples of this being used in real life and effective ways to implement this for increasing the click through rate, building huge lists etc... 8. The difference between article marketing and copywriting-- and switching over to copywriting FROM article marketing. Outlining the purpose of article marketing vs copywriting for websites and content etc... 9. Words and phrases which can be used in articles and in the writing to persuade people to buy, psychologically linked words... like Go, YOU, FREE and even UNTAPPED words--- as well as the psychology behind this and why people associate with these words so frequently 10. Outsourcing vs writing them yourself, and what you can get from both- especially if you are wanting to bulk up your potential, and how to bulk up without flooding your own potential 11. How to completely prevent ALL of your articles from being sandboxed, and how to get OTHER PEOPLE to social bookmark your articles, WITHOUT doing any work: The key to writing articles which FORCE people to publish them all over the net, and make them DO all of the work for you. (This really can be done, and, I know so personally, so it may be something you might want to consider asking... which in a nut shell is putting the articles on auto pilot) 12. Writing articles with MANY keywords versus optimizing an article for ONE keyword alone.... the difference and what each can get you in the long run. 13. Quick article marketing versus long term article marketing- (pumping out articles each day to get FAST money and quick views.... versus optimizing articles and doing all the work in the long term) also which has more financial benefits (and PROOF)? 14. Case studies and REAL examples of people who have literally become millionaires simply through article marketing and using article marketing techniques (this has been done as well, so I would really love to hear this discussed, if anyone is aware of these people in reality...) |

I'd be interested in knowing if these Article Marketers include VIDEO article marketing in their bag of tricks, and if so: > what tools do they use > what directories do they submit to > how this has improved their click through rate Thanks, Kat |
