Problems with Ezinearticles

the past 6 or 7 articles I have submitted to Ezinearticles have been refused. The refusal note says that it looks like I am trying to use meta tags in the article. They refer me to their article guide lines page.

The article guide lines do not clarify what they are objecting to. I don't have any idea how I am doing that. Has any one had experience with that or know what I need to change?

Do your articles contain html? Strip all of them ..

Btw, they usually points you to the specific subtitile of the guideline page. Let the page loads and you'll see. And EZA has very good support team. Just drop them a message and they will help to clarify the matter.

Yeah if you e-mail them and ask for exact reasons (say you didn't understand what they meant last time) they'll usually tell you.

Sometimes you may need to keep onto them a bit (in a polite way) but they should say.

Once I needed to ask the same thing/clarify it around 4 times before they would give me an exact answer (the first reply was a generic copy and paste reply, the second was "See the guidelines", the third reply gave a little more detail, and the fourth finally answered my initial question)

*Shrugs* But yeah, just contact them and ask for an exact reason for why the article (give the title) was declined. If they say something generic or pretty useless, just reply back politely and say you still can't see where you are going wrong.

I had an error that told me my article contained meta tags, it wasn't "refused", in that an editor declined it, but I received the error immediately I tried to submit the article. I wrote to eZA and a very helpful response told me that this error can be triggered if an errant 'space' is anywhere in the article.

I went back to the original and hit delete at the end of every paragraph until it brought up the next paragraph into the same line. I then hit enter, enter to recreate all the necessary paragraph breaks and voila, the article was accepted with no more error messages.

nowadays it's not easy to submit to ezine article. They are quite particular with some new rules. You have to check again and again to see what is wrong with the article. is it the html problem or grammar or etc?.

If you are pasting from MS Word there are tags that you won't see unless you look at the document with an html editor. Stuff like font and font size and crap like that. You can try the little box with a "W" on it to try to paste it in that way but still sometimes it will hold onto font formatting and it will automatically be bounced back to you.

I am thinking that this might be what you're trying to do since I've done it myself a bunch of times. Same thing happens when pasting from Word into a Wordpress blog. Be careful because on a Wordpress blog it can hose the whole thing up and the only way I've ever been able to fix it is to go into the html and manually strip out all the tags and start over...

Just my guess for why you're having this problem.

Ezinearticles are only good for one thing and that is for getting backlinks.

I just thought it was ridiculous. Huge green font. EZA is only good for backlinks. Doesn't have anything to do with the topic anyhow. I just let my Yankee blood get boiling. Dude only has 5 posts so he's probably just a troll or someone wanting to promote his site through his sig.

              Ok! Back to writing!

                  Hi Maurice,
I apologize for the confusion. Typically, Meta Tags are brought over when pasting from Microsoft Word.
To see the prohibited code in your article, you can "Turn WYSIWYG Off." From here, you can remove any prohibited HTML code or "Meta Tags." Or, if you have the 'WYSIWYG On' and see large amounts of blank lines before or after the article body, I suggest removing them.
To avoid this prohibited HTML code in the future, please remember to use the "Paste From Word" feature on the WYSIWYG (What You See is What You Get) Editor. To do this, "Turn WYSIWYG On" and click the Blue "W" icon to 'Paste from Word.'
I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any further questions.
                  Thank you,
                  Kimberly

Nichenews, lol, that was funny, you probably dont write content that warrants being read. I've found EZA absolutely incredible, I get good traffic from there and my articles get published on other sites, what could be more of a comliment then that. A quality article does actually get you even more links. Thats just my £0.05...lol
