Default Site flipping

Hello,

I'm planning to do some site flipping, but before starting I need to know a few things about domain transfers:

1) Let say I buy a domain from Godaddy today. Can I transfer it to another Godaddy account tomorrow? I'm not sure whether the 60 days restriction applies only when you transfer to another registrar or not.

2) Can I transfer a domain with WHOIS protection from Godaddy to Godaddy? I have tried with one of my domains, from another registrar to Godaddy, but there were a lot of problems and after hundreds of e-mails and confirmations the domain is still not transfered.

Thanks.

Yes, you can push the domain from one Godaddy user to another without waiting. I'm sure you can push one with whois protection also, but I'm not sure whether the whois protection stays or goes. I don't use whois protection so people can contact me if they are interested in my sites.

Both of you have to be godaddy members. It is easy and free. Most domain sellers are on godaddy so it helps that most customers are already members.

If they are not then they will become members first before you can do the push. Also, I like to push web hosting as well. This means it is easier for the new consumer. You can use your hostgator reseller account to give your users free hosting for the first year.
