Google Analytics Question

INTERNET MARKETING

I registered one of my sites with Google Analytics. The problem is that the number of visitors goes up and sometime goes down. I always thought that the visitor number displayes was a cumulative counter of visitor coming to the site, but now seeing that the number some time goes down, I am not so sure.

Any comments/suggestions will be apprecited

Google shows a daily measure of visitors. It can also show weekly, monthly, and you can select the time frame.

Google has some pretty good explanations on how it works. Just look for the links inside analytics
