Default Web = Regurgitated Content?

I find that when I search the Internet for info any given subject, I get the same content over and over again with only minor variations. I suspect much of it comes from one original source and is repeatedly recirculated, redigested, and regurgitated all over the web.

You are so right. It varies by niche, but the curse of the web is thin content. The search engines are constantly fighting this, forum owners are constantly fighting this, article directories are constantly fighting this.

Thin is easy. Making deep content that you took the time to research, test, and really think through, is not easy.

Those who take the effort to write quality content that is helpful and useful often has the most traffic and following as well.Bloggers like Yaro Starak and Darren Rowse for instance make great content and their blogs get A LOT of traffic.
