Has anyone got any funny stories?

I just told my sister that I was putting my second adsense ad at the bottom of the page to which she replied 'isn't that being greedy?'

I was speechless.

Being that I'm a noobie, I'm sure someone can do much better!

My wife said for the last year that all I ever did was "play" on the computer. This Saturday, I got 2 CB checks and also ran a special on another product and showed her my Paypal account after she checked the mail.

Later I heard her on the phone talking to one of her friends and she told her buddy that "Mike had to work" all afternoon.

So now - it's "work".

My friends never understand what I do. For them, I'm just a computer nerd sitting in front of ma screen 24/7 lol

I started working online to build a business when I was still living with my parents. I spent a lot of time in my room on the computer. One day when I was mkaing a coffee and I over heard my mum say to my dad, ''I'm worried about that boy he spends all his time in his room, what do you think he's looking at on that computer? I think he need's a girl friend''.

Skip forward a few years, I am now engaged and all that time I spent in my room on my computer now allows me to work from home and pay for a super size wedding!

I remember, a friend of mine said that make money through the internet was impossible. That all that was just lies that other people said so they can rip someone off.

Interesting how she's now developing tools and websites to make some money to pay her studies...

Now she doesn't laught that much.... :P

Hello,
I remember the days when I used to get money in the mail,
the days before Paypal.
I had to switch to a post office box because my mailman thought
I was doing something illegal.

I had to explain that most companies are like a pyramid. A few people at the top and many people at the bottom.

Whereabouts are you from in the U.K?

Many people will look at you 'funny' if you ask them to join you or even mention MLM or working from home..

Things aren't always as they seem.

Long Island is definitely a great place to live, but is one of the most
expensive places to live.

Plus, since NY is considered center of the world for some reason,
it is also a target for terrorism (whether internal or external)
and Long Island is just that - an island with one way in and
one way out.

Like I said, things aren't always as they seem :P
