Anyone seen a free plugin for wordpress which lets you turn any one of your pages into a sales page?

Check out this WSO. It does cost $25 for the complete set of themes but you can scroll down to the end of his sales pitch and if you sign up on his email list you get one WP Sales theme free. I really like this WSO. Hope that helps.

I found this website that has free templates for WP sales pages! THey work really great.

I'm not sure if there's a plugin that turn just one page into a sales letter..? but the themes in my sig works great for sales pages. Clean and simple.

The only thing is they are stand alone themes if you get the freebie, you have to purchase if you want to incorporate it into your current theme.

Ohh Ok, I see what you are saying.

Well, I can make custom WP Themes on Artisteer, and I can make one for free for the OP if they want. However this will be standalone too..

Then I can give it away to others!

There's no plug in that will do this for you, but it very easy to do yourself if you don't get weasy editing the HTML code.

For example: look at TwitterGrabbag.com. It uses Brian Gardner's Blue Zinfindal theme, but most themes work just like this.

Copy page.php to another page, like sales-page.php.

Add some header information to tell WordPress that this is an alternate page template.

/*
Template Name: Sales Page
*/
?>

Here "Sales Page" will be the "choosable" name while editing the page.

<?php include( TEMPLATEPATH . '/sales-header.php' ); ?>

Remove any reference to the sidebar, i.e. things like this:

<?php include(TEMPLATEPATH."/l_sidebar.php");?>

You can also change the CSS classes used in the document to style your sales pages differently.

I can vouch for the suggestion you've been offered by a previous poster.

WORDPRESS SALES PAGES & LANDING PAGES -- Create Sales Letters & Landing Pages in ANY WP Theme!

You'll probably find something that suits your site and product right out of the box.

I have the whole package and can recommend it wholeheartedly. Jason has put out a fine product that has served me well.
