Default How can I check whether my site fonts are ok on other computers?

Ideally without giving it to (a great bunch of) marketers? lol

I just want to check that everyone else sees what I see.
(making sure my sight is setup correctly)

(I'm on a mac if that makes a difference)

Thanks!

Steve,

These fonts can typically be seen on recent
versions of Windows and Mac pc's:

- Arial
- Book Antiqua
- Comic Sans MS
- Georgia
- Courier New
- Tahoma
- Times New Roman
- Trebuchet MS
- Verdana

Use browsershot.com. This site allows you to see what your site looks like in any version of a broswer.

I personally to double check if my site looks the way I want it to on all major browsers. Definitely recommended if you're outsourcing web design to a freelancer.

Great call by George about browsershot but sometimes it can get *really* busy and take an age to render your images in the queue.

For those looking for a very quick (almost instant!) view of how their sites will render in many versions of IE try;

IE NetRenderer - Browser Compatibility Check -

This is particularly useful to us Mac people.

stick to the list Brian gave and you'll be fine.

chalkboard... is a no go. sorry.

I use a lot of centry gothic myself which is one he didn't mention. Impact is another one (I think) that is cross platform compatible.

Synthesize me, And reboot, I need to start again, I need to make it different
