Default FTC getting official about bloggers up to $16K fine

I just ran across this and the FTC has finally gotten serious about starting to regulate paid blogging. FTC Publishes Final Guides Governing Endorsements, Testimonials

The verbiage seems a little open and may also apply to affiliate links as pointed out at FTC to bloggers – Disclose or pay a fine | Misc does link to an affiliate program constitute an endorsement? It could probably be determined to be an endorsement since you are getting paid.

This will definitely affect CPA programs and the IM niche if you consider the entire results not typical item in the announcement.

thoughts?
