Default My biggest problem

You want to know what Im struggling with when it comes to focusing all my efforts on affiliate marketing. It is facebook. I have spent so much time on the site this past weekend that I found myself actually wasting time.

Has anyone else had the problem of getting distracted and trying to get their focus back? What technique did you use to help you get back on the right track?

Waste as much time as you like ... once you have today's "must-do" tasks (and perhaps some "like-to-do" tasks) done!

Set priorities and then you need not feel guilty. This is what I try to do, though I am not always successful!

Actually I never really considered making a task list, and sticking to it. I just have been knowing what has to be done and try to get things done that way...I going to start writing the task down and marking it off as I finish them...then Ill waste the extra time....I just have to learn to focus more.

Facebook brings out the worst in some people, just like alcohol and other vices, it's simply a matter of discipline, which is 100% personal.

Good luck!

Yeah right, I also find that facebook and other sites on the internet serve as a distraction for us. It is very difficult to control that kind of urge.

If there are sites that turn into time wasters for you, there are three good solutions:

Only go there when you have finished your high-priority tasks for the day.

Limit yourself to a short time (e.g., 10 minutes). Set a timer, and when it goes off, you leave the site and get back to work.

Stay away from the site completely.

This could be Facebook, Twitter, eBay, or any other (including this one). Some unproductive time is fine. We all need a break now and then, and even unproductive tasks can be useful at times. However, if you are spending hours on Facebook, you are not doing what you should be doing.

To get your important tasks completed, each day list the three most important things you will accomplish the next day. Do those things before you do anything else. Then get to the less important work and the fun stuff.

Plan the day before you begin it and set priorities
for everything you have to do, including facebook.
Give it 30 minutes or an hour to spend on it and
no more. That way you will spend less time in there.

This brings me to the statement I love so much:

Proper prior planning prevents poor performance!

I don't have time to deal with Facebook. I'm now concentrating with my online business. If Facebook can make you money, then spend your time with it, but if it didn't, stop spend your time with Facebook.
