This one method incresed the success rate of my students by half

This message is targeted mainly for beginners but it can help anyone with a business who is not getting the results they want.

When you first learn a new method or technique you are one step ahead of the masses by taking action but here is how to increase your efforts.

Ok say you lean a new method on video marketing, do it for 2 weeks straight every day, and here is the most important piece of the puzzle.

V.I.P

Don not check your stats for the entire time.

The entire 2 weeks do not check your stats. This is very important.

anytime you start doing something you will not see any significant results the first few days.

So if you check your stats every 5 minutes and you do not see massive results it will begin to create doubt within you.

and you will eventually give up before you really get going with it, and you will not see any results and then tell everyone it doesn't work.

When in all reality you never gave it a chance.

If you go hard with a method for 2 weeks with 100% certainty that it works and then when you log in to check your stats and see traffic optins and sales then you will be motivated to continue to go hard with it and eventually change your situation.

Stuff does happen fast online start any offline business and see how long it takes you to make 100 dollars a day. it's gonna take you a good couple of years.

So 30 days or even 6 months online is fast compared to other business standards.

stop buying into the millions overnight with no work, it just doesn't happen like that.

what these guru's forget to tell you is that it took them years of blood sweat and tears to get to that point.

Stop checking stats start taking action, and stop buying into the hype

I have a note on my computer that says "Don't check the stats make the stats!"

I must admit I am a stats addict and would get more work done if they were out of my reach. Sometimes I turn off the net to get work done without slipping into email or stats hell.

That's a great tip, when getting started I was tempted to check stats a few times per hour to see how things were coming along. Not only is it disheartening when you're beginning - but it sucks a huge amount of time as well.

Now, I try and limit myself to checking my stats only a couple times each day. I do believe that checking them once you start getting traffic can help you capitalize and take advantage of situations that sometimes pop up.

I love checking stats even though I always think about how I could be making more money if I used all my stat-checking time being productive working on a product or doing some marketing efforts.

Oh man, I need an intervention on this one. I have a serious monkey on my back about stats checking. I bet I waste a good hour a day bouncing around checking this and that. Somebody have me involuntarily checked into the nearest rehab, will ya? Thanks.

Checking stats within the first 2 weeks can def be a huge discouragement, but always wondering how it's doing is annoying too.

Yes, I agree with you. Checking your stats too early can be a real killer. Like you advised, it's best to keep going and keep going VERY strong for a couple of days or even weeks before checking stats. But ensure that you don't slow down the momentum on your efforts during the time.

Ha ha, stat checking rehab. I definitely get withdrawal symptoms when I havn't checked a stat for more than an hour. They should have a stat rehab section of the warrior forum for us lot.

Come on...how can you not possibly check your stats for 2 weeks? I can hardly go 10 minutes.

My GF is starting to get annoyed at me too. Everytime we hang out and head back to my place I'm always like 'gotta check my stats before I can do anything'. Or right when I get to her house 'mind if I check my stats real quick?'

It is definitely an addiction without a doubt.

I will definitely try this, but it ain't gonna happen lol.

I'm addicted to checking stats. "Whoohoo, 10 more hops in the last 2 hours!"

I wouldn't be able to do it, but I can understand where you are coming from when you say not to check them.

I'm gonna go check my stats.....*F5*

I genuinely like this idea. We're all obsessed by our statistics and you're totally right - in the early days of setting up the figures aren't going to anything other than demotivate you. Like you say, get out there and do the work and the stats will look after themselves.
There's nothing to be gained clicking on them every five minutes if nothing changes every five minutes, is there?
