What kind of WordPress Templates would you like?

Hello everyone,

I am new to the forum and I would like to establish myself as a good member here.

I have decided that I will make up to 5 basic WordPress Themes for different niches to give to the community. (NO OPTIN, actually just give away in this thread!)

So, in order to do this I would like to know your opinion on these questions.

What niches would you like them on?
Would you want to be sales letters, or more blog like?
Any particular color scheme(s)?

Remember now, these are basic, but would be great for reveiw blogs, or sales pages!!

ALSO, I am not alluding to a WSO or service or anything. Just to clear that up before I get flamed!

So let me know what you want, I will try my best to fulfill your needs!

So Internet Marketing as a theme? Or more in depth, such as Email Marketing, or SEO etc..

One request that comes up often is to use WP for optins, landing pages, and squeeze pages. So a theme with a configurable Landing Page design, Squeeze Page design, and (popup or static) Optin form would be the perfect starter.

Landing page I can do, you can add the optin form through a text widget by yourself, but I can create the side panel.

Would that work?

Welcome to the forum, Ben. You're off to a good start.

When I first signed up here I spammed the forum. I didn't intend to - I actually thought I was contributing something wonderful. It was wonderful to me, but very old hat to the regulars here. Your approach is so much better.

So here's my gimme list...

I've looked all over for Wordpress templates for .mobi domains. I'd love a really basic, hardly any graphics, but clean look etc. template that would look good on a .mobi site.

I also love WP templates with small header space - most have huge graphic header boxes.

Also hard to find are clean yellow/black color schemes, similar to a yellow pages directory site. (Guess what I want one like this for???)

Ok, I will work on a simple Layout with a small header with a yellow/black/white color scheme!

Ok, here is the first Theme.

It is a WordPress Sales Page styled template. It has a generic header at the moment but I think it looks good with the theme.

So you can custimize it to work for you. If you want to put your Opt in box in it, put a text widget in you sidebar and put your HTML in there. Otherwise I would disable your widgets so the sidebar goes away. I just left it there if anyone wanted to put widgets on their site.

So to use it as a salespage, Put all of your text/images in your first post that you would like on the home page of your website.

It will look like a static website, but you have the flexibility to easily edit it. Also, I made it so it does not display any other page. If you change your permalinks structure, you can still create pages and Link to them.
So here it is. I will upload some screen shots later =D

I think you are super to do this, but as I don't know you I'd rather not download a zipfile to my computer just yet.

Why don't you give us a link to what it looks like first

I did try to keep it supre simple as it is meant for a sales page.
