Gearing up for the Holidays?

Alrighty, so I would love to do well this holiday season.

What are you doing to gear up for the holidays and what are your tips and tricks?

    I am building hundreds of affiliate shops from datafeeds.

    This has worked in the years before but so far, the results have been very dissappointing.

    They have used up more than 95% of my time in the past 2 months but generated less than 5% of my total profits.

      Yeah, I haven't been having much luck with affiliate marketing lately. I don't think I've got enough traffic going. Maybe I'll crank out articles like mad for a while.

    I don't do anything different in December than I do any other time from a business perspective, and from a personal perspective my family refuses to celebrate the holiday, so no shopping, no gifting, no parties or dinners -- basically at this time of year, nothing changes whatsoever for me.

    This is my first Christmas season in IM, so not sure what to expect. I have started a Christmas blog with items from Amazon, not going with low $$ items. I will basically do bummarketing or OWM to promote.

    Anyone have any proven methods for the holiday season?
