Try adding adsense or change your sales letter

There are people looking for free information like "Paris Hilton" "who is on the Letterman show"...you get the idea and they should be sent to an Adsense site. They are probably not interested in buying anything or hanging around your place once they get their info.

Then there are people looking for "Hotel reservations" "Flights" "where to find Gucci handbags" who are ready to buy so you send them directly to a sales page while they are hot to trot.

If you have a blog with general information about music and the band scene in Austin...then grab their email and followup until you know what they want.

What I'm getting at is that you really need to know your target and what they want before they get to your site. Then you know what to do in order to "monetize"

A million visitors means nothing if you don't know what to do with them and you won't know what to do with them if you don't know them.
