Hello Warriors, I was wondering how do you build a buyers list? We all know that "the money is in the list" came first then came "the money is in the relationship with the list" and then came "the money is in the list of buyers". That's how I learned it anyway. So if a BUYERS list is the most valuable list you can have how do you build one. I can only think of one way. That is to put a squeeze page before your download page so that after a customer purchases they opt in to get to the download page. I learned this a while back from another warrior. I also learned here that people don't like having to opt in to get their product so I provide a link for those who do not want to opt in to go directly to the download page. But most sign up from what I see. Does anyone know of any other way to build a BUYERS list. I just can't think of any other ways to build a buyers list? Mike |

You can synchronise AWeber with your payment processor to automatically add buyers to a list after payment. Use $7 secrets script and the opt-in process as you described above. Use R.A.P to do it automatically after sale. Just a few ways that pop into my head Peace Jay |

what i've seen most often is to add the opt-in as part of the checkout process. I've talked to some people that use it and their clients don't seem to complain about it. And by checkout process I mean...when they click "Order" your page says step 1 out of x..."please enter your name and email" then step 2, cc details and all that stuff. I've also seen this used alot by stompernet...but until you test for yourself, you can't know. |

| As someone mentioned earlier AWeber is a great auto responder that allows you to automate the process after a costumer has opted in. I highly suggest that you use them if you aren't already. Also, in answer to your question about building a list I suggest going to Internet Wealth Products (IWP a free resource site) and checking out Affilorama on their resource page. You can join Affilorama for free and they have dozens of high quality videos you can watch that will answer pretty much any question you may have and yes they have some great videos on list building. I use IWP and Affilorama all the time myself and it has helped me greatly! All the best! |

Don't forget about having your site visitors opt in (before they ever become customers), to get on your ezine list. This is one of the most powerful ways to build your list. You'll end up with: List #1 -- A list of people who are interested in whatever you offer but have not bought yet. List #2 -- People who have actually purchased. Your Facebook page is another great way to build your list (without spamming everyone, of course). Just set up your opt-in box on your Facebook page, then your FB friends will see it and it's another portal for you to get people to opt-in. |
