Does anyone use the (page-peel) effect on there blog? If so, what kind of results are you seeing and what are some good things to offer in the ad?

I have found some great results in click-through rates with the corner peel-back/away ads on my sites.
The method that has worked most successfully for me is to sell the spot to an advertiser. It works so well, because you are appealing to the advertiser's ego. When they visit your site or blog and you tell them that they can have an ad there, it really excites them because of how cool and different it looks compared to the typical banners or ads they have run online. |

It's funny, but that makes total sense BigManta. Animated gif banners and gimmicks appeal to advertisers, despite the fact that website visitors are more likely to respond to text ads that resemble the rest of the site.
