Default Finding warriors for hire

Is there a search bar or filter of some kind to help me find the right warrior with the right service at the right price?

I am looking for a video creator and a basic web design for a small site.

Maybe you could find a programmer in that section to make you one, LOL.

Hmmmm....maybe TimTim could do something like that.

Maybe even I could. It would be fun I've thought about doing stuff like that.

But...the irons I have in the fire have this tendency to remind me that they are expecting some attention.

Is posting on WF one of those irons?

I think there is no search facility. But you can post a thread in "Warrior service" category and get some warriors.

Yes you can search!

Go to Warriors for Hire, then look up to the top right of the table and you'll see a 'Search this Forum' facility (just below the number of pages grid). Click on that and select 'Advanced Search' - type in your keyword (top left) and check that only the part of the forum that you want to search is highlighted in the 'Search in Forums' box (middle right).

When I used 'video' as a keyword and 'Warriors for Hire' for the forum search, it came up with 80 records (3 pages).

By the way, I do website and product videos. Let me know if I can help.

Unfortunately, I came up with the same old mixed results that have nothing to do with video. Perhaps I am doing something different?

True, but at least it narrowed the field from 350 to 80, which is less to trawl through. I reckon that of those 80, approx 10 have some video related offering.

Anyway if you are still in need of assistance with your website and videos, let me know.

You like putting people's brains on the spin cycle?
I feel like I walked into an MC Escher drawing. Or one of those wonderful oriental conundrums they give monks to contemplate: "am I a human dreaming I'm a butterfly dreaming I'm a human dreaming..." (Okay you get the idea.)

Part of posting on the WF is part of "marketing."

It also makes an excellent release valve (I'm about to post on that!)

Being on the WF is also part of information gathering...and looking for people who need to have things done -- many of which I am able to do! And take great pleasure in doing so.

If you've ever heard those stories about making your day a glass jar, and then filling it with boulders. Well, writing a toolbar would be a big boulder. Posting on the WF is more like grains of sand. The big boulders have to be carefully placed for maximum time efficiency. Grains of sand...not so much.

(Among other places - this boulder/grains of sand time metaphor was used in Mike Filsaime's 7 Figure Code -- but it didn't originate there. So I'm assuming some folks are familiar with the metaphor. In fact, will come out of the woodwork -- I hope! -- to describe it far more beautifully than I am doing here. But now they probably won't, because someone expects them to. Sigh.)

(hopes, guys, hopes....)

Live JoyFully!

Judy
