I have used them several times for promotion of an offline business and they have actually produced some really great results for me. In addition to the benefit of getting syndicated across many different news outlets, my press releases (done exclusively through theme) garnered me a couple television interviews from local TV stations who came across them.

Either way, if you're looking to increase your online presence or get noticed by the media - they're extremely affordable for the quality and distribution that you receive.

Michael,
I used them a few years ago and had very good results getting indexed and exposure. They've since raised their rates and so I'm using webwire now and getting similiar results for a lot less cost. PRWeb is good - but if you want to save some money check out webwire (not an affiliate - just a happy customer). My last release with them cost 10$ vs I think PRWeb's smallest fee is $80? and we got our release indexed fairly quickly - less than 8 hours, and by the end of the day had 2 reporters call for additional information. We got picked up in several national business newspapers as well from that release.
best,
--Jack
