Images in my clickbank ebook - Yes or No?

Hi, I have written my first ebook and am about to submit to clickbank for approval. Thanks to all the Warriors for advice and help along the way.

Is it ok to include image (screen shots) in my ebook. Bearing in mind I don't have approval from these websites to do so?

Also, is there a way to protect my ebook so that someone doesn't just share the thankyou page link with other people?

Finally, I take it PDF is what everyone uses and that I should host this on my site?

Mark congrats on your first CB ebook. That's a huge step forwards my man. I'm in the process of my first free report/ebook which is a big step for me.

Yes it would be best to include screenshots of earnings or whatever. If you have any concerns go to support/contact and ask them. If you want to include screenshots of their site ask them as well. It's the beginning of week so most should get back to you quickly. Any that don't respond right away you can always release book w/o their screenshots and add them later.

I can offer no response to other 2 questions but will say I prefer PDF personally.

    Again man, awesome job.

      Thanks Tim,

Just to be clear, my ebook has a step by step method of doing something related to the travel industry. Part of it involves things like signing up for something on a website. I include a screenshot of said website.

Do you think it is a good idea to ask for permission since my method reduces the income that said website/company will make?

Is my product likely not to be approved if these screenshorts are in my ebook and I don't mention to CB about approval?

      Thanks

        Hi Mark,

In my experience, ClickBank won't look at your actual ebook. What they really want to know is that your site (especially your "thank you" page) complies with their requirements.

    hi mark

ive got lots of ebooks on clickbank and all of them have screenshots in them. Many for well known sites including ebay/twitter/facebook/google search results and so on and ive never had a problem.

Clickbank do have it in their terms that you are not allowed to use a income screenshot from their site but people still do it all the time without problems.

I would go ahead as planned you can always change it later my view though is that these companies see it as free viral advertising from you.

    kind regards

You can use it if you have their express, written consent.

The images should be no problem, just make sure they help the content and are not just filler pics that can take away from the product.

Mark, great to see you are doing your first eBook.

Images - I would use it #1 you are promoting the website at no cost to them, as long as you give them full credit for it.

Protection from download - I would suggest to use amember to make sure its secure. Others have used DL Guard as well.
