In search of another wp plugin

I'm looking for a plugin that will allow me to set a specific image for a category and works with wp 2.8.4 version.

Anyone know of one? Or...maybe a simple noncomplicated work around?

WordPress › Section Widget WordPress Plugins

it's called a section widget...

u can use a different one on every page if you like.

you just add the widget, and filter the display settings.

then u add another for the next category
