My-Keyword-Phrase.com *Expert advise needed !*

If I'm trying to use a product name as a keyword phrase and I want it in the URL. - But the .Com in not available, Which would be better:

-Use 2 hyphens and get the .Com?
-Get the .Org without hyphens?

Example:
my-keyword-phrase.com
mykeywordphrase.org

* Can a .Org have as high of page position as a .Com ?

Just my thoughts ..
The .com is the best if you want to sell your site down the road at some point, but if your not bothered about selling your site at a later date .org is fine there will be no differance in page rake what so ever !!

whichever you choose - be sure youre not in voilation of any type of laws, especially if its a direct product name.

I have plenty of multiple hyphen domain names - they perform well.

This is where I always get stuck though. It seems that the opinion on this subject is always divided.

I wonder though if there were 2 similar sites on page 1 in google, which wound get the higher position... the .org or the .com

My preference is to ALWAYS try for a .com address.

Jimmy i really dont think `com` outranks `org` on google dont even worry about that part its the rest of the SEO you need to work seriously forget about it mate.

Just as i said i always go for .com even if i have to add a word on the end like.. site, reveiw, ect.. or add scores and underscores but this is because when it comes to selling the site at a later date .com looks better.

Forget about which rakes the best even if in a huge long shot .com does out rank .org its such a small part of the over all SEO and so unimportant belive me you have much better things to be thinking about than this !!
