Tons of hops to my review-style blog... but basically no sales

I was wondering if anyone familiar with how to write a good review-style blog wouldn't mind checking mine out. I'm getting a decent amount of traffic but no sales, and I'm sure it's because my review page sucks.

It's Acne Cure Reviews

Thanks.

You should have some eye popping graphics. Also, ask the vendor if you can use some of the testimonials on your page? But QUOTE the stuff and tell people it's from acnefreein3days otherwise you might run into this whole new crappy FTC problem.

You need to grab the visitors attention. There's tooooooooooo much text and very little formatting.

    Hope I made sense.

Thanks. Any other suggestions would be great, as far as the actual copy goes... I don't have any copywriting skills so I just wrote the reviews, honestly, for what they were, but if anything is a huge no-no that you see or something I could add, please don't hesitate to let me know. This is my first shot at a pre sell page.

It seems like one big run on to me.. really doesn't grab the attention. You really need to differentiate each different review. Grab their attention and make sure that each product has it's own distinct review which can easily be seen as thus.

  • Of course it's an honest review... because you say it is. And it's on blogspot and you're a Board Certified Dermatologist right?

Think about what you are really doing.

    Why should anyone trust you?

My two cents: Focus on one book, get your own domain and a simple one page review site. Check out your vendors sales page, and report the best benefits and testimonials. As you are getting sales, put an opt-in form on hour page and start building your list, for back end offers.

It seems to be saying that you had severe acne that you were desperate to get rid of...then you tried an ebook...then made sure your acne came back...then tried another ebook...then made sure your acne came back...then tried another ebook.

So you were desperate, then you decided that you'd let the acne come back anyway so you could offer an honest review on the interwebz. It's not believable.

Also, the adsense ads will be taking some visitors. I've never used blogspot, so I have no idea if you can deactivate them.

And I promise you WILL get clear (and STAY clear) for good if you choose the right e-book for your personal condition.
      Uh oh...

If you are even considering Accutane, DON'T do it. The side effects are atrocious...As you can see in my picture, I now have to shave my head because I lost my hair on Accutane. AND my acne came back worse than before when I stopped using it.
      Double uh oh...

However, if the story is true then credit to you for your tireless pursuit of the experimental method.

I took a quick scan, and the whole thing screams "SPLOG"...

For a start, you were desperate to cure your acne, and the only thing you did was review three ebooks available on Clickbank, complete with affiliate links? It's starting to walk like a duck...

According to your story, you found three effective treatments for your acne. You know this because, in the interests of research and concern for your fellow man, you let your acne come back? At this point, I'm thinking you are either a liar or an idiot, and I'm not interested in buying from either. Now it sounds like a duck...

If it walks like a duck and sounds like a duck, the odds are high it's a duck.

Were it me, I'd pick one for my cure and weave my story around that. If you still want to promote the others, you can add posts saying that during your search for X, you also came across Y and Z, which also looked good and may fit others better.

        Make sense?

This is all wrong. A good niche blog should look like this:

    http://www.cichlidssite.com/cichlid-info/

Notice how this site is eye-catching, has about 8 articles of good information, banners, and also offers a mini-course in exchange for the opt-in?

Niche blogging isn't my thing, but if I were going to get into it, I would structure mine exactly like this one.
