Hi all,

I am in the process of shortlisting my next niche site topic, and have found a few variations that may well be worth a go. The ones I have found involve basically sticking an S on the end of the word. Google returns only results without the S, so i'm thinking this could be a goer.. For example; 'Cats' is better than 'Cat'. Searching for Cats doesn't put any Cats titles etc at the top, only Cat.

What are your thoughts?

For non-single-word search terms, Google *does* give you different results for the plural and singular terms. eg "bathroom vanity cabinet" vs "bathroom vanity cabinets"

Not hugely different, but different, and may make the difference between #1 position or lower. The search volume is also different for singular and plural terms.

Yes This can affect your ranking,

      Example

      ''travel kettle''

      ''travel kettles''

      Best of luck,
